Condoms don't even work all the time. I know girls who got pregnant when the condom broke and other contraceptives are not 100% effective either. If you take a prescription to treat a medical condition you may not be able to take anything that has a chemical drug and that includes nuvo rings, patches, pills, etc. Pregnancy is a life changer but most pregnancies, whether you're married or not, young or old, are unplanned. It's better than an STD, as STD's are so contagious and can be passed on to your baby. It's not the end of the world. There is a lot of fear mongering and shaming going on with pregnancy. It used to not be about age as much as it was about religion. Ideals somehow morphed into making females ashamed of their body functions and treating their fertility like it's a disease.

Exactly. Contraception pills are also a comon prescription for girls having problems with hormone caused pimples, and well, hormone imbalance problems in general. Also, they reduce PMS symptoms, and menstruations are almost (if not completely) painless and predictable.

True, I was on birth control as part of my infertility treatment. It sounds strange, but the pill can regulate your cycle so that you can know when to stop taking it and start attempting to conceive. Men and women who are not highly trained reproductive specialists have no business making regulations on women's reproductive health. And personal ideals do not belong in the decision process.

Daria? Did you even read the comment? What you are talking about is off subject, what I'm talking about is in RELATION to the situation IN the comic. Daria, unless you have been with someone new in the last decade, I can assure you, tons of guys (specifically college age) will say and do nearly anything to get out of having to wear a condom "oh my pull out game is strong" or "its too tight" or "I'm allergic to them" the excuses are endless. lol
