Wrong. You don't spin in mph but in rpm. Tangental velocity differs with latitude.

    Nevid

3 years ago Created by potrace 1.15, written by Peter Selinger 2001-2017

Exactly, the linear speed of a point in a spinning sphere depends on how far you it is from the center. The Earth's rotational speed is 1 rotation/24h, or 11.57*10⁻6 rotation/s. At sea level (6400 km from the center), one rotation is a 40 000 km circle. That's a linear speed at sea level of 463 m/s or 1666 km/h (about 1000 mi/h). But at a different altitude, the linear speed will be different. Slower if you're closer to the center, and faster if you're further.

This is funny because I know multiple people born on September 9th, and it was my due date when I was pregnant with my oldest son. He was born a bit early, on August 30th.

Wrong. It means "swift seizer". The traditional definition of seizer is a "person who lawfully confiscates property". Quick Repo Man is a better definition. You better make sure you are paid up on the rental or a chicken sized dinosaur is going to make off with it.

No. It's The Pursuit of Happyness. The mis-spelling apparently makes sense if you watch the film, which I haven't.

It only appears once in the English alphabet, just like all the others.

Half correct. E and H appear three times in "the English alphabet"; several others are used twice.

No it's Antarctica. It's technically a desert as so little rain or snow falls there

Mcmurdo Dry Valley Antartica..... But they really have to specify dryness. Is it lack of humidity, least amount of rainfall, least amount of groundwater.....

That's not accurate. There are a few timezones that use intermediate time deviating from the regular 1 hour intervals. Iran and India use such timezones. As a result, there are more then 24 time zones.

This is strangely wrong yet again. I The correct answer is 37 or 38 depending on when Iran is on standard time.
