I Keep Trying To Photograph My Girlfriend But She Won’t Let Me
I love my girlfriend, and I’m a photographer, so I love to take pictures of my girlfriend, right? Problem is, she hates it when I do: whenever I raise my camera and point it to her, she finds a way to hide her face.
So here’s a series of me trying to get a good shot of my girlfriend. And failing at it.

Your photos say so much about your girl without seeing her full face, she has a beautiful smile, nice eyes, she loves food and coffee, she's quirky and creative, and she likes teasing you. Great photos

These are so fun! You could take small portions of each photo, the parts of her face that is visible, and compIle them into one image to make her face and see how accurate you could make it. She seems sweet and silly, from these photos.

Se doesn't want to be a subject. "Everything for you is a subject that you frame, compose, shot and expose. I'm not everything. You won't put my head on the wall, I won't subject, I'm not your subject, you don't own me." Something like this, I think...

Nice photos but I'm not buying the story behind it. These photos are too well framed and composed to be 'failures'. I guess, the photographer found a really effective way to promote himself. But the photos really are beautiful nonetheless.

Amusing in a sweet, aesthetic, and pretty cool series :) There's a museum in the Netherlands (MOTI - Museum Of The Image) that keeps an online exhibition called Image Hunters, which is dedicated to just these kinds of series (there's some really awesome ones among them too). If you REALLY want to p**s of your girlfriend, I suspect they might be interested :P and how many guys can say they love their girlfriend so much they put her in a museum? I think these are carefully posed for photographs and there's nothing spontaneous about them. Some people are so simple they'll eat whatever is fed to them!

Photographers are wonderful people. They can take an image so blurry and unfocused it's unrecognisable but still make it look perfect, so they probably just edited it

She herself can not fully appreciate the beauty you see in her.But the rest of us can, it's not that she does not feel beautiful it's just she is not the shove it in your face kind of girl. I love these photos I think she handled your attempts to capture her perfectly in her own way.

Well... she's probably shy... it's kinda awkward coz u know his a photographer...meaning he has a queer eye for his subjects. Being his subject u have that pressure that the photos should look good. And she don't like that... She'd rather do crazy stunts. ????

If she doesn't want to be photographed, you should respect that. Your photos are beautiful but find a willing subject. You should not be getting praise for disregarding your partner's wishes.

So stop doing it if she doesn't want to be photographed. If you loved her you wouldn't keep imposing your wants on her despite her telling you she doesn't want this. Just swap the words "camera" and "photographing" for "penis" and "f*****g"..........

It's obviously a sort of game between them. If she were seriously trying to avoid being photographed the photos would be very different! I have a handsome son who usually pulls silly faces to tease me when I point my camera at him. When he actually wanted a decent photo of himself for something serious, I didn't have any suitable ones so he had to pose for a new one.

Nice photos but I'm not buying the story behind it. These photos are too well framed and composed to be 'failures'. I guess, the photographer found a really effective way to promote himself. But the photos really are beautiful nonetheless.
