Star Wars season is upon us and some people just cannot get enough. Luckily the Star Wars Bakery (yes, there is such a thing) in Stockholm, Sweden, has been busy at work creating incredible, edible Star Wars-themed gingerbread cookies for our eyes and mouths to feast upon.

The food art masterpiece is undoubtedly the Imperial Star Destroyer, an incredibly detailed gingerbread house that almost looks too good to eat! At the moment this sculpture artwork actually is, and is on display at the office of games developer DICE in Stockholm.

Star Wars Bakery has also come up with other, equally impressive edible art creations including an Imperial AT-AT and a Millennium Falcon, and a galore of other famous characters. While they are most likely eaten up by now, you can check the unique artworks all out by scrolling down below! Merry Christmas from us at Bored Panda, and may the forks be with you!

How "edible" is gingerbread that's held together with hot glue? I mean, I don't care because I'll even eat McDonald's and hot glue can't be as bad for you as their burgers, but some people have actual standards don't they?

Fondant, matey, fondant. Or simply caramel. Seeing a hot glue gun is shocking, yes, but it' s loaded with edible ammo.

The damned shame about gingerbread constructs is that they're made out of gingerbread. Gingerbread is the carrot cake of cookies. Who wouldn't rather have shortbread or chocolate chip cookies as the building materials?

Does anybody really eat gingerbread houses? We just throw them out after Christmas.

This picture reminds me of all the fun I had playing Xwing and Tie Fighter back in the day.

Tie Fighter still has a huge following. I was more into Wing Commander and the Microprose "Aces" series.

That looks really cool! I guess the secret to having heavy-duty gingerbread is to burn it a little bit. I will remember that next time I make it.

There’s absolutely no way to tell whether it is a class I or II imperial class star destroyer, where is the communications array and shield generators? amateurs.

Don't be too proud of this Christmas terror you have constructed, for the ability to build with gingerbread is insignificant next to the power of the force!
