Most of us associate hotels and Airbnbs with holidays—a special time that doesn't come around too often. A time we want to make the most out of. So, naturally, we're super excited to get away, stay in a lovely hotel, and chill by the pool. Just relax. However, sometimes our expectations aren't met. Maybe the carpet design makes our room look like a bloody crime scene, or maybe the ceiling of your bathroom is so low, you have to kneel in order to take a piss. To remind you not to skip the reviews before booking, Bored Panda has compiled a list of hotel and Airbnb fails that aren't doing these establishments any favors. Continue scrolling and check out the pictures!

This Poorly Translated Food Menu From A Hotel In Saudi Arabia
Something tells me, however, that we shouldn't expect hotels and Airbnbs to fix these problems anytime soon. Their main priority right now is survival. In November, 71% of hoteliers said they won't make it another six months without further federal assistance given current and projected travel demand, and 77% of hotels reported they will be forced to lay off more workers. Without further government assistance, nearly half (47%) of respondents indicated they would be forced to close hotels. More than one-third of hotels said they will be facing bankruptcy or be forced to sell by the end of 2020.

The package includes a second round of PPP funding and other benefits that will help the hospitality industry.
"The legislation contains many of the provisions AHLA has advocated for, including a second round of Paycheck Protection Program loans, increasing the size of PPP loans to 3.5 times payroll and making PPP loan expenses tax-deductible," Rogers explained. "This will provide a critical lifeline for hotels and other businesses that have been decimated by the pandemic. Other hotel industry priorities include a one-year extension for Troubled Debt Restructuring (TDR) relief so that banks can continue working with borrowers to gain additional forbearance and debt relief, business meal deductibility through 2022, and expanded Employee Retention Tax Credit."
While this relief is welcome, leaders want to believe that it is just the beginning. "More will be needed to restore the 4.5 million travel jobs lost in the travel and tourism industry, but the process that produced this agreement is hopefully a positive sign for what will be possible to achieve in the next Congress,” Roger Dow, president/CEO, U.S. Travel Association, said.
Anything for you guys. Just save this list and deal with the issues in the pictures after the pandemic is over, OK?

I was at a hotel once - not a cheap hotel, either - where the only window in my room looked out into the elevator lobby. Literally every single person who stepped off the elevator couldn't help but look directly into my room. Also the air conditioning was broken (in 90 degree heat), so they spent three hours installing a new one... that smelled like it was burning. I told them enough was enough and that I would be finding another place to stay, and they said because it was after 8 pm by then that it was company policy to charge me for the full night (even though I hadn't spent one minute in the room). I'll spare you the exhausting details, but the summary would be no matter what I did I never got my money back.
I hope you Trip Advisor-d the h*ll outta that place!
Load More Replies...My worst hotel experience was pulling up in the parking lot and seeing several cop cars and an ambulance. Our family started joking about what might have happened. They hadn't closed, so we went into the lobby. We saw little red spots on the floor and of course start going "oooo, it's blooood!" Long story short, two people actually had been murdered. We went to get on the elevator, but the one that opened was the one a crime scene team was busy cleaning. On top of everything, we were next door to the room they were killed in. My brother and I kept trying to get into that room from ours using the connecting door. Our mom kept smacking us and telling us to go to the pool LOL
