i got the image to work but then I wanted to edit it and it wouldn't work. Also, there was a dock workers strike when the candy hit the shelves in late September/ early October. The strike was over weeks ago, but the prices stayed the same. Another excuse for price gouging.

I considered it for the same reason, but ultimately decided just to lower my screen brightness. (I know that won't work for everyone). It's not even the $, but damnit, I am so tired of everything being a f@#%#g subscription! If we keep giving in for convenience then one day we're gonna wake up to $9.99 a month to breathe air.

Yeah... Impossible to did became, so as long as you chuck on an appropriate pronoun... perfectly fine to say "He/She/It "has become". Obviously for pluralisation you would say "They have become". Out of respect for brevity I would normally go for He/She/It/They "became". S**t, the plural of Octopus is Octopuses and not Octopi. All because of ancient Greeks and ancient Romans. Fück do I know...
