Same except the fact that there was literally a monster made of human flesh, Hopper "died", Alexei died, Billy died after sacrificing himself in the name of Hawkins, his little sister who he actually really loves, despite all the stuff that went on over the course of the episode 8, season 2, and most/all of season f*****g 3. Let's not forget the fact that Mike was a total asshole to Will and Dustin, got dumped by his badass girlfriend, and Nancy also took Max's side in favor of his. I bet if Mike had stayed with Dustin with the whole Cerebro scenario, they all probably would've lived, solved the code even faster than Robin did BY HERSELF, and oh yeah, didn't practically DESTROY HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH WILL (Oh did I say he was a jerk to WIll?)! But yeah Season 3 was great.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one who thought exactly that. It was cringy all the way through, the only thing that I was impressed by - was the Russian. The story made no sense, it was completely unrealistic - how could Russians just build a MASSIVE underground base and no one noticed it?? Children outrunning armed guards? Honestly. All character development went completely out the window. I barely made it through the season.

Thank you, this season was just a bunch of people complaining about their boring relationships, the terminator guy as well as the whole Russian sub plot was not needed(although slurpy guy ruled) and there was a real lack of character development for some of them, I mean Will seems lost like the actor does not know what he's doing with the character anymore.

yes it was honestly too much, but I am so affectionate to the characters that I loved it anyway

I was so excited for the new season, then I start the first episode and see "evil Russians cliche #4524" and turned it off. It didn't even feel like the same show. I will eventually catch up, but that opening made me lose interest instantly.
