I hope those sweet dogs all find loving homes. Medical testing on animals is a vile practice.

Indeed. There are so many better, more reliable, and ethical in vitro methods but the FDA is super slow at approving new methods (even though animals don't metabolize the same as humans and somewhere between 60-90 percent of stuff tested in animals fails in humans). My husband works in medical device testing and always requests in vitro (not tested on animals) for every device. He also uses previous data and finds all of the better methods.

To help end animal testing please shop cruelty free, write to legislators about concern for animal welfare and urge support for in vitro testing (which is also more accurate than animal testing), and support/donate to Beagle Freedom Project.

Actually, when testing on dogs, it's almost always Beagles. Their character traits are supposed to be ideal for it...it is unbelievably sad & angers me more than it's good for me 😞

I've inspected an animal research for a job I once had and yes every dog was a beagle. They were testing d***s that were for dogs. No horrific surgeries. The regulations wrt to acquisition and testing were incredibly strict. They were inspected by regulatory agencies often. All I'm saying is the dogs were being used to save their own species

Yes, but sometimes they are forced to eat things then cut open so scientists can look at their organs, and then they're thrown at. In many labs, dogs aren't loved, not even cared for, just objects for experiments. Not just dogs- cats, rabbits, hamsters- any animal.

There was speculation and even video (not sourced) of Fauci and the NIH allowing extensive harm to beagle puppies for "research". The NIH denies it. I'm not sure where the video was from, but based on the cruelty of the test, it may have been from China (the most inhumane animal tests are done in China). The best way to help is to shop cruelty free, write to legislators about concern for animal welfare, and support/donate to Beagle Freedom Project to help get the surviving pups out of these labs and into homes!

While scrolling through social media, we often come across content that leaves us saying, "Wow." People usually invest a lot of time and effort to capture that one perfect shot. Whether it's waiting for the right moment, adjusting the lighting, or finding the perfect angle, getting a flawless picture can be a lot of work.

It comes as no surprise that nearly 2 trillion photos will be clicked in 2024. To give you a clearer picture, imagine this: people globally snap around 61,400 photos every second. That’s 3.7 million every minute, a staggering 221 million every hour, and an eye-watering 5.3 billion photos every single day.

But here’s the thing: out of the 1,940,000,000,000 photos taken in a year, not every one of them makes it to the "perfect" category. There are many that fall into the realm of "blah" or candid moments. Sometimes, we capture random, everyday scenes that might seem mundane or awkward but end up being somewhat intriguing.

These pictures, often taken spontaneously, might not have the polish of a carefully planned photo, but they surely hold their own charm. And the 2022 Dirt Instagram page, which has nearly 43k followers, is full of slightly amusing content.

Among the billions of photos humans click, not every image is planned and meticulously staged. Many are spontaneous shots that capture the beauty and bizarreness of everyday life—from a cat making a silly face to a microwaved bag of chips.

You might find these unpolished, slightly intriguing images quite relatable because they reflect genuine moments and emotions.
