June is coming to an end, which means Pride month is too… but there’s still time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and its individuals, defend equal rights, reject discrimination, and support the right for every individual to live the life they are and love the way they wish. It’s celebrated annually in June in honor of the Stonewall riots, which took place in New York City in June 1969.
You can tell your LGBTQ+ friends and family members how much you love them, maybe do some activism, join the community, attend a workshop or symposium, or simply put a rainbow sticker on your laptop, and most importantly, have fun! Same as we bet the people who made the pride signs featured on our list did.
What’s not addressed enough about the LGBTQ+ community is how hysterically funny its people are. Just take a closer look at the funny pride signs and posters of Pride parade participants. Below, we selected some of the wittiest ones for you to chuckle at and spread that feel-good vibe to you!

Just letting anyone who needs to hear it know- if God made us in his image, how could he hate gay people? Not all Christians are against you.
Pride Events: a Proud Part of Our History
Since the pandemic has finally taken a step back with hopes it won’t return, Pride events return to many cities around the world for June. Celebrations and parades with gay pride signs filled the streets in some countries, but the moods were not bright everywhere, to say the least.
New York's first Pride March, then called the Christopher Street Liberation Day March, was held in 1970 to mark the first anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, a spontaneous street uprising triggered by a police raid on a gay bar in Manhattan. This Sunday, marchgoers lined the route through Manhattan, not just celebrating and parading their gay protest signs but also voicing their objection to the unprecedented turn in US human rights history.

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court decided to overturn Roe v. Wade, a 1973 landmark ruling that had secured constitutional protections for abortion in the country for nearly 50 years.
LGBT leaders fear the Supreme Court's decision endangers personal freedom beyond abortion rights. In a concurring opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the court might reconsider other precedents, mentioning specifically rulings protecting the rights to contraception, same-sex intimacy, and gay marriage.

Meanwhile, Lori Lightfoot, Chicago’s first openly gay mayor and the first Black woman to hold the office, called the ruling a "momentary setback" and said Sunday's events were "an opportunity for us to not only celebrate Pride but be resolved for the fight." She stated: "we will not live in a world, not in my city, where our rights are taken from us or rolled back."
"This march is going to have more of a serious tone than celebratory, and I don't think that's a bad thing at all," said Krystal Marx, executive director of Seattle Pride, which drew thousands of people carrying pride signs to its parade on Sunday.
Although these sorts of things shouldn’t be taken lightly, the best way to get someone’s attention is by wit. And these pride sign ideas on our list absolutely prove the point.

Harry
Is this right? I've never read Harry Potter but isn't the author kind of bigoted?
well Harry Potter was forced to live in a closet below the stairs by his aunt's family (who cared for him, since his parents died) because he came from a magical family and was thus less worthy according to them.. that's the reason she has the sign. It has nothing to do with the author even if there is some critism against her. But even if the author is less than a decent person, she still made great books.

Hey guys, hope your place are full with rainbows over there. From your supportive straight friend ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I think most homophobic men are afraid gay men might treat them the way they (the homophobes) treat women.
the amout of ace flags i saw in this made my entire f*****g week
I loved these! I was quite homophobic and transphobic as a child and never realized it. Looking back I see all the things I was taught that were so hateful and wrong. I also realized I'm queer!!! No matter who you are, you deserve rights and love and all this world can offer. Being gay is cool, being bi is cool, being trans is cool, being straight is cool, being non-binary is cool, being pan is cool- it's all cool! Okay, I'm cringing at my overuse of the word cool. Point is- please never be ashamed of who you are ❤🏳️🌈
Mom hugs to all of you that may have been rejected for being you. I love you all! ❤ 🌈 🏳️🌈
One day I’d like to go to a pride parade with my friend. She’s bi and I’m trying to figure out what I am :)
Big applause for AUDRIUS P. for putting this list together! Thanks a million - it made my day!
I made a pin that said: "LET ME LOP OFF MY TITS IF I WANT TO" and put it on my backpack. I got 3 compliments and one very excited middle-aged person pointing at it and saying "MOOD!"
i just realized i think the best way to do that is to get a bunch of planes in the color of da rainbow to fly all over the world, wouldnt that be epic
I always laugh when I overhear "I don't know any gays." It's just funny that their world is so small and they don't even notice that! I'm sure information is lacking in other parts of their life, too.
Pride was always a riot. It started with people fighting cops
