Sounds Like A Good Idea
Comic books, the medium that originally made Marvel famous, has been around longer than many people might expect. The Swiss cartoon Histoire de Mr. Vieux Bois (also known as Les amours de Mr. Vieux Bois, or, in English "The Adventures of Mr. Obadiah Oldbuck") was first published in 1827.
Interestingly, many of the elements in this comic were derived from political cartoons of the 17th and 18th century, including exaggerated images and speech bubbles. While the subject matter is at this point hardly comprehensible, the format and look of these two centuries old comics would still be familiar to a modern audience.

Detective stories, science fiction and adventure comics were all quite popular. It was Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster's Superman, published in 1938, that really started the “Golden Age” of comic book heroes.

I seen this picture here on BP 2 or 3 times. Just noticed thar all 3 Spiderman suits are different.
For example, many of the most famous superheroes, Batman and Robin, Superman and Wonder Woman, were all created by Detective Comics in the 1940s. Yes, DC stands for “Detective Comics,” another bit of evidence that superheroes were just one common genre at the time.

Marvel saw its own heyday (if we discount the present) in the 60s and 70s, with Stan Lee’s Fantastic Four and the iconic Spiderman. Marvel itself, unlike its biggest rival, DC, did start with comic books, although its creator, Martin Goodman, made his fortune in pulp westerns.

1. They introduced devices that can change the essence of reality itself. 2. They fixed that with time travel so any decision doesn't matter. 3. They fixed number 2 by creating multiverses where every decision happens so what happens in this one matters even less. Once your entire franchise is based on Deus ex machina, there is no meaningful plot that can make an audience care about what happens to a character.

Marvel actually switched to horror, Westerns, humor, crime and even Bible stories in the 50s, as superheros seemingly fell out of fashion. Much of the company's later success has to be attributed to Stan Lee who focused on creating heroes and stories that were more appealing to older audiences.

However, many modern people recognize the iconic red logo not from a comic book, but from the intro to the many blockbusters, produced by the Walt Disney Company. Disney acquired Marvel in 2009, including its filmmaking branch, Marvel studios, hot off of the success of 2008s Iron Man.

Thanos was a sociopath. He wasn't in it for the empathetic or reasonable solution. If he were capable of empathy he would've known the other half wouldn't "thrive" after witnessing 50% of the population get eliminated, including their friends and famiily. Not to mention how half the workforce disappearing would crash economies. He was an egomaniac who just wanted to be right.

Yeah, but we don't know if it was the exact wording or the intention that mattered. Neither he nor Tony said anything when they actually snapped; they just had an intention. He might have said "all life" but *meant* all sentient life, so that was the outcome. And no one in the aftermath talks about plants and animals getting blipped, so we can assume that didn't happen.

This is an established trope from the comics. The main reason Jameson keeps paying Peter is that Peter brings him photos of Spider-Man when no one else can. Peter’s been shown in the comics setting up his camera with a remote or timed shutter to get shots.

It was okay. I wouldn't say it was bad, but I didn't like the ending and some things were.... Interesting choices, but I also really liked the Daredevil scenes. Basically, it wasn't unwatchable, but I probably won't watch it again.

I've studied law and (aside from really not liking the depiction of She-Hulks personality) that was really the most frustrating aspect. If you threaten the other lawyers and start throwing furniture at them, you'll get removed from the case, simple as that. She's also not properly preparing for any of her cases, let alone following protocols or ... Uuuugh!

i'm still deeply annoyed that that they didn't use one of strange's portals to just chop thanos's hand off, like they did to one of his goons earlier on in the movie. it would've saved everyone so much time, and it could've ended with infinity war, but no, they had to drag it out pointlessly for endgame.

He goes from arms manufacturing playboy to genius/billionaire/playboy/philanthropist to husband and father to a hero willing to sacrifice himself to stop the villain from eradicating half of the universe. It's not a noble deed if Captain Marvel comes along and saves everyone while surviving herself. It's expected.
