We have all been through various emergency drills, right? Whether that would be a fire drill at work or a beautiful flight attendant waving their hand around, going through all the things that could go wrong on-flight. But, as it turns out, the Internet is full of surprises and offers not only endless cat videos but entertaining ways to look at security measures as well. Sure, it’s important to look into such things seriously but what could be more useful than a drill that for once is actually involving. We would join one for sure!

This Japanese Zoo Decided To Perform A Lion Escape

We all love to feel prepared when it comes to the worst things we can imagine and Tobe Zoo in Ehime is no exception.

And it totally made sense to have a human dressed up as a lion

The footage shows the person pretending to be an escaped lion wandering around the zoo most likely looking for prey.

The fake lion was observed by the real zoo inhabitants

As the imposter was roaming the zoo freely, the real lions kept there observed the scene. We’ll never know if it wasn’t intended but maybe they have learned the lesson as well?

While this may seem hilarious, no one would want to face it in real life

While this may have been a good practice for the zoo workers, we hope they never get to use the nets and tranquilizers during a real event.

The real lions were not impressed

Good thing the lion family living in the zoo was not tempted to follow the example of the imposter and stayed cuddled up together, observing the ludicrous scene.

Here’s how people reacted to the hilarious video

In the Netherlands there was a famous chimp called Mama (she was the matriarch) at Burger's Zoo; she escaped once but didn't wreak havoc, just wandered peacefully around, and eventually was found drinking chocolate milk in the canteen.

This happened years ago at the SF Zoo; some drunk idiots started to tease the tiger and it become so agitated that it actually jump the fence and killed one of them. The other one lived but has scares to show for his actions. Sadly, because of this, the tiger was put down.

I used to buy my pet food at a store that hosted a greyhound rescue group on Saturday mornings. On the Saturday just before Easter a person wearing a rabbit costume walked through and every greyhound's ears went straight up as they stared at him. Good thing the guy didn't break into a run.

Not an escape drill but a dolphin stranding one. I played the dolphin's part... I kicked everyone...

That action movie music though! The expression "cry laughing" doesn't even cover what just happened at my desk. I may need some of those interview tips soon.

They look like they're fed well and healthy at least. I guess if you're stuck in a zoo, that's the best you can hope for.

It's a typical Japanese anime but with living humans. It's fascinating how the crowd listens earnestly to the announcement.......

It took my rescue to see me leave the room 3 times before she started jumping up and pulling on the k**b to let herself out or she would wait at the perfect spot to run out without notice. So to keep doing this in front of them is not the wisest
