30 Absurd Comics By This Artist That Might Make You Smile (New Pics)
Interview With ArtistThere’s nothing like some lighthearted humor to brighten up our days. Luckily, “Proidemtes” comics are here to do exactly that. In these playful illustrations, the artist turns people into funny characters who experience all sorts of absurd smile-worthy moments.
“Sometimes the plot has a double meaning,” says the artist. “And the most pleasant thing is the smiles of my relatives, friends, and everyone who can recognize themselves in the comics. I draw them for these moments.”

We asked the artist how long it takes to finish one of his comics, to which he replied: “It all depends on free time. Often I don’t want to finish the sketches at all, because after I showed them to my friends and they all laughed at them, it seems like after that you don’t need to do anything. But generally, it's one evening unless I have a perfectionism attack and start moving something left or right a pixel in the picture, in which case the process can take months.”
When asked about his creative process, the artist says: “Honestly, there is nothing out of the ordinary. Ideas come spontaneously often in the evening or at night when I start to fall asleep. Often the trigger for an idea is some kind of life situation.”
As for facing creative block, he calls it a “familiar problem”: “At such moments, I read more books, walk and switch to something new. I do other things I love, like taking pictures or eating, for example.”
The talented creator believes that “every author's style is developed by itself. Any work has its own author's style, even if the author tries to imitate someone, he inevitably puts a piece of himself into the work.”
The artist himself credits other creators like Gary Larson, Graham Annable, Ilya Kazakov, and Steinberg as some of his personal favorites.
When asked about future aspirations, the artist says: “To be honest, it may be hard to believe, but there are no special goals. I'm just pleased when someone likes what I draw and if my pictures can cheer someone up. Recently, there are not so many reasons for joy, so if someone has become more fun from my pictures, this is already important and pleasant for me.”
I think this is my same sentiment when I view some modern art.
As a pet bird owner I can attest that baby birds are definitely funny looking to say the very least.
Hah hah, this makes me think of Paul the Octopus who was a common octopus that was so good at "guessing" the winners of World Cup matches.
Its from a fairytale. Skeleton King dude is immortal. 'His death is in the needle. He will die only if the needle is broken. So in the story the needle is contained inside an egg. The egg is hidden inside the duck. The duck is hidden inside the rabbit. The rabbit is supposed to be locked inside the chest box. The Prince - protagonist of the story - finds the key to the chest box, catches the bunny. It turns into a duck and flies away. He shoots it down and gets the egg. He breaks it and gets the needle inside it. Then he breaks the needle and the immortal Skeleton Kind dies. That's the short version ))))
I thought they were great, but which ones were thought provoking? (I'm asking seriously)
