Gudim pursued a degree in engineering with a specialization in mathematics and successfully graduated. However, after earning a degree, he felt unsatisfied with his work. He returned to his childhood hobby of making comics but with a more grown-up outlook. Now, he tries to create comics that people can relate to and think about.

Given Gudim's decade-long experience in creating comics, we asked about the most surprising source of inspiration he has drawn from for his comics or illustrations. The artist shared, "Since I've been drawing comics for over 10 years, my creative process doesn't depend on inspiration. I always have dozens of ideas in notes that I systematically implement. Replenishing notes with ideas occurs mainly on long trips or flights, when there is time not to fuss and be left alone with your thoughts."

Anton Gudim's work has captivated audiences with its unique blend of humor and wit. We were intrigued by the boundless imagination behind his comics. With Gudim's knack for finding humor in the unexpected, we wonder if there's ever been a moment when reality proved too surreal even for his comic stylings. The artist shared, "Humor can be found in almost everything. Of course, there are exceptions: unpleasant situations that can hurt you and make you worry on such a deep level that you may find it difficult to laugh about them. If you try to live your life as consciously as possible, you can find both the comical and the tragic in the same situations."

First time I saw a toupee in the wild was when I watched my school bus driver's lift off a blow out the window.🤣🤣

In today's fast-paced digital world, where attention spans can be fleeting, we asked Gudim what he believes sets his artwork apart and makes it resonate with audiences in a meaningful way. "I cannot boast that my works regularly cause great resonance," he shared. "We, authors, content creators, are largely dependent on the algorithms of social networks because they determine how many people will see your work. At the present time, I would focus on the fact that it is not the audience who chooses the content, but the content that is imposed on the audience. Did you know 5 years ago that everyone in the world likes short videos? Don't think so."

This would no longer happen in the present day. According to lore, vampires couldn't see their reflection because mirror's were lined with silver backing. Mirrors are no longer made the way they would have been in an ancient castle inhabited by Vlad the Impaler.
