I'm not sure if they intended to do this, but it's interesting on a way deeper level. The letter that could be both, an "i" or and "a" is displayed by a little stick figure that represents a person. And this person is basically you and it's your choice, if the letter is an "i" or an "a". You wanne be fit...be an "i"...of not...well...stay fatforever. :D

Guesses? What Is That?
If en elderly person comes to the gym and reads newspaper while moving legs on a machine, I'd say leave them be instead of mocking. You have no clue what their condition is. They might have stayed at home and potato on the couch, instead they are at least moving a bit. Besides, I wodner how many commenters knew all about how to use every single device in the gym :P Bunch of smartasses. Yeah, I got a grumpy day today! ;D
Every gym I've ever been to (6) has required that new members be shown how every piece of equipment works. It seems a little risky to let people loose without knowing how to use everything safely.
Load More Replies...Would be nice to know you could frequent a gym without feeling you may be mocked.
These are funny, but I wonder how many asked for permission before taking a photo and uploading it...
My thoughts exactly. I work out hard and I look a mess when I'm finished, if I saw a photo of myself here I would be both livid and litigious. Personally I'd see phones banned from gyms.
Load More Replies...Don't take photos of strangers at the gym, you incredible pieces of garbage. This article sucks. Don't let people think this is acceptable behavior. People have been successfully sued over taking photos like this. There can be legal consequences to this, beyond just the fact that's it's wrong and discourages the people who need it most from going to the gym.
i hate anyone who photographs others without their permission. mind your own f*****g business.
Not cool, creeping on people at the gym and mocking them online. Not cool at all.
Why doesn't anyone help someone if he or she is using the equipment in a wrong way? Why is having fun at the expense of someone else so much more important?
Notwithstanding whether or not photos should be taken, I'm a bit surprised at the lack of policing at the gyms shown. Every gym I have ever attended has info in some form at each workout machine and assistants (or whatever they are called these days) who ensure you are using the equipment properly. They also (sometimes) provide a bit of moral support and programs to use for your workouts eg reps and stuff for noobs to use. Important if you've never been to a gym before. They also police the dress code with regards to footwear, especially, and ensure people generally tidy/wipe after themselves. It would seem to me to be quite dangerous for an individual to misuse a machine which could result in costly court and/or medical expenses. I'm also sure some of these may well be staged.
Who cares of what people wears at gym. Are they comfortable to training in this clothes, well let them wear them. These people who took this pictures needs help! Seriously photografer to this pictures GET HELP AND A LIFE!!!
I agree! I don't have social anxiety or anything else that would be considered a "valid reason" for a home gym but I still don't like to go... It's obvious that everyone at the gym (where I live) is judging you based on how you look and I got sick of it... Screw the gym, I'm going jogging with my dog who doesn't own a smartphone.
Load More Replies...I'm astounded at the sheer number of people who have paid a staggering amount Monthly to access this equipment but received no training in how to use them! As to people going gently or slowly, many disabilities are not obvious. One of mine is Connective Tissue Disease, I could do terrible internal damage if I didn't go very gently indeed with movement let alone exercise đ
