I had the cutest little spider in my aloe when I brought it the house in the fall. It constructed quite the web among the branches, even had a tiny little funnel to its hole in the roots. At first it would hide when I came to water the plants. I would always say good morning to it, and eventually it stopped hiding at the sound of my voice, and even seemed to "look at me" when I spoke. One morning a couple of weeks ago, he wasn't there. I hope he lived a good long spidey life, and died of old age!
