Fowl Language Comics: 30 Witty And Relatable Cartoons By Brian Gordon Featuring Human-Like Ducks
Fowl Language Comics, created by Brian Gordon, is a webcomic that humorously explores the challenges and joys of parenting and family life. Using human-like ducks, Gordon cleverly depicts relatable situations, offering a witty take on the ups and downs of raising children.
"My cartoons have always mined humor from my failings and insecurities. However, since I became a dad, my insecurity has been less about how cool or successful I am and more about juggling life, work, and parenting… and how badly I might be screwing up my children along the way," Gordon shared on Bored Panda.

you see this why, when your kid gets like this, play hide and seek, don't tell em that but just disapear for a few hours, its not hard to make yourself vanish in a big house and wait untill they wonder where you are, then you can say "now you need me" then walk away and finish eating that box of their favorite cookies right in front of them
Brian Gordon chose to be a cartoonist when he was in kindergarten. While his classmates dreamed of being superheroes or princesses, Gordon stuck to his goal with determination: "My classmates had equally unrealistic life goals, like becoming superheroes or princesses, but I was more tenacious."
As a parent, Gordon finds most of his inspiration for his work from his daily interactions with his own children. "My comics are largely inspired by my struggles as a parent, my fascination with technology, science and all things geeky. Oh, and a constant, crushing wave of self-doubt and anxiety. That’s a big source of inspiration, too."
Ahh, yes, my father shows my younger siblings his love through responding to the moccasionally with "your mom" et cetera...
When it comes to inspirations,Gordon looks up to Charles Schulz, Bill Watterson, and Berkeley Breathed as major influences. The artist shared that when he first saw a Far Side cartoon, it was like discovering the Beatles for a musician. He thought it was incredibly funny and mind-blowing.
For artists, there are both enjoyable parts and tough bits. Gordon's challenge is not repeating himself. According to the artist, his kids often do things that drive him crazy, and it's hard to keep finding new ways to joke about the same old stuff.
I mean...accurate. i love you would die for you but sometimes i dont want to hug you for 100th time this hour after you called me a bad mom threw tantrum bc i said no to something you alrdy knew answer to. (3 yr old toddler so IN IT phase right now)
😔 A sad truth- it helps me to focus on loving others, that way they can know I love them and then I love myself for being loving! That made no sense, but the more love the better, is all I am saying!
Not brushing your teeth could get you TO the dentist so… be my guest! Also, flunking can get you stuck with her more time. Again, go ahead!
Never understood this with kids. I didn't eat red meat for a while, and I did have stuff I'd think was gross, but I always tried everything I came across at least once. I also loved veggies (except water chestnuts, carrots, and lima beans) and all sorts of fruits (besides watermelon, cuz allergic). Like...never understood the super picky thing
