The vast majority of the homeless male population in Brazil owns at least one dog. There are NGO's dedicated to treat their dogs when needed, shelters have to accomodate the dogs and they are usually fed before the owner himself eats.

For real though, can we make parasols an everyday thing again? I have super light skin and almost white blonde hair, which means I go from ghost to lobster in the sun, there is no in-between. (Sunburn, sun allergy, migraines, dizziness, the whole nine yards). So I walk around with an umbrella whenever it's sunny, even if it's not super-hot. People tend to stare and make smartass comments about it all the time (Like: "oh my god you are so pale, ditch the umbrella and get some sunlight, geez") and it's super annoying

Yes it is ethical. In my home country buffalo's are kept for many reasons and this is one of them. Horses are too expensive and collars chaff their necks. This way is actually causing them less pain. And is more practical since yiu can control it if the buffalo is out of control.

On my time we had cats and a species of monkeys called "sagui". The fact is most of our Federal Universities have big campuses and most of them have laws protecting deforestation on their areas, so it's fairly common to see birds and other small animals.

Not in some regions of São Paulo's countryside. They are quite frequently hunted, though, poor onças. Hunting them is an old Paulista tradition dating from our native ancestors, and that is hard to stop. Every family has a tale of the "caçada da onça". How old that tale is will tell you how much time has passed since their family moved away from the countryside.

I mean, this is Brazil, not the US. Most of the times, nobody ever sues anyone over anything, even when they should. Fell on a supermarket because the floor was wet? Well, you are going to be forced to clean the mess you left when you fell and pay for any items you might have damaged. Stumbled from a staircase that is not up to code? Well, why didn't you look where you were putting your feet? Brazilian law considers gaining money by suing someone indecent, and has historically harsh limitations on how much one can earn this way, no matter how right they are, in order to impede anyone from getting rich out of that.

Sure, like anything repetition builds tolerance but who offers that training? Male genitals suck all the blood from your brain when stimulated, or antagonized is a better term. The core biological prerogative sets in which is, "must do what she wants so she likes me so we can mate." It's why straight guys become dumb and obsequious around pretty women. Mastering biological impulses takes willpower and repetition, like not farting after tacos. That same impulse is VERY closely associated with rage, and poor impulse control leads to assaults. Unfortunately the far right has overtaken the image of the Brazilian flag. After 4 years under the Bolsonaro government, being seem wearing the flag or its colors will immediately flag you (pun non intended) as a supporter of Bolsonaro's crimes. Even during soccer matches, most people will now wear the secondary uniform (a blue one), to avoid walking about in green and yellow.

Thats what the japanese did with criminals in the Sengoku era. They marked their forearms with stripes so that the people can see them and beware of these people. Well these criminals joined together and formed the Yakuza. And cause the plain stripes looked boring, they inked themselves with other motives, leading to the bodysuit tattoos. This practice is also one of the reasons, why japanese believe, that tattooed people are evil.

I'd explain, but I guess the background story is more... uhm... interesting...? Here in Brazil, as you probably know, we have a huge nationwide five day party called Carnaval. We have parades, public and private parties of. , all kinds, and street parties called bloquinhos, really popular here in Sao Paulo. Some of those parties end up getting a little crazy and, at some point, somewhere, two guys decided to do a golden shower on top of a bus stop, during the party, surrounded by hundreds of people. The video went viral instantly and someone asked his opinion about it on Twitter. The president responded that. Yeah... we had four years of this kind of s**t. :(

They went dressed in their work costumes because that day the Town Hall was to vote on banning the "trens da alegria" (Joy Wagons), a form of entertainment in which performers wearing costumes drive through the city in open cars, fake trains and similar modes of transportation singing and/or taking kids for a ride. Some versions are just moving show houses, others are a way of getting rid of, erm, entertaining your kids for half an hour to an hour while you shop, rest or date. Like motorized baby-sitters.
