While we frantically wrap last-minute gifts and bake cookies for Santa, our furry friends also like to play a role in the holiday festivities. Like that cat who insists on batting at the tinsel on the Christmas tree, causing more than a few ornaments to come crashing to the ground. Or the dog who gets a little too excited about the dinner table and keeps begging for food.
But at the end of the day, our companions are just happy to be included in the celebration. And it wouldn't be the same without them. So as a thank you, we at Bored Panda put together a collection of funny and heartwarming pictures that show what this joyous occasion really looks like when you have pets. I know why: animals in diapers are almost always cute! Grown adults in diapers (outside of incontinence issues) are almost never cute. Well, maybe if it's a jokey Halloween costume or something, but only if it is a joke and not making fun of anyone. Ducks are cute. Ducks in diapers are doubly cute!

Yep! Duck trainer here lmao, got two crested Pekins like this. There's two reasons, first being that ducks poop like once every 8 minutes and it's incredibly hard to clean up. Second, this breed's skull is essentially exploded in an area to give that head puff, so they often have mental problems and cannot be trained to hold in their poop.

Lol, I really train a lot of animals. It's all about finding a rescue you believe in and working there! I work at one with farm and exotic animals, but part of my duty is training the farm ones to be able to go into places like nursing homes and such for therapy events :)

Honest question for the duck trainer. Can some breeds actually be potty trained?? I have a friend that LOVES to say that birds have no sphincter so there's no way they can control when they poop so I didn't know potty training was an option!

Yep, you can! It's mainly about preventative training and positive reinforcement. One way is actually through the diaper, a lot of animals will learn that when they have the diaper on, it's so that they don't poop on the ground, and won't poop anyways when it's on since its uncomfortable. They'll associate areas where they've had the diaper on before and not poop there after a time! It depends on the bird though, of course, as some species aren't very trainable due to their domestication status/intelligence/instinct drives etc.

They're really amazing!!! I train goats too for goat yoga, and it's honestly amazing. Farm animals like them don't get enough recognition for their individual personalities, plus unique pets have so many perks like eggs, feathers, and the fun of learning about a new animal :)
