Why are Cats so Funny?
Ah, the question of the lifetime, no less! Looking at these funny cat photos, you might’ve caught yourself thinking it over and over, to no avail. To ease your mind, we thought of some reasons why cats could be as funny as they are, and here they are:
Cats, unlike a lot of other animals, are very playful, and to us, them chasing toys and pouncing on shadows might seem terribly entertaining. What’s more, is that cats are incredibly curious, and as the old saying goes, “Curiosity turned a cat into a funny cat photos meme.” Or something like that. Researching the specimen further, we found that every cat has its own personality quirks. Those quirks are sometimes so hilarious that they’re the absolute perfect material for cute cat photos! And while we could go listing the reasons why felines are so oddly hilarious, we’ll mention expressiveness as our last point. From their wide range of vocalizations to their exaggerated facial expressions to something as minor as a bug in the room, cats always surprise us when we least expect it. Thankfully, of course, those surprises are usually very funny and painstakingly adorable.

I built a pergola in the garden, they started using the posts to sharpen their claws so I bought a roll of coir wrapped it around the posts, hey presto, scratching posts. They haven't used them since.

Fun fact: Cats actually have three eyelids! They have the top one and the bottom one like we do, but they also have one that does horizontally. As you can see in the bottom left pic. He looks all Cross-eyed but that actually just him closing his little kitty cat eyes

My cats just did a marathon to go eat their food on the other side of the house-

We had a beautiful and very demanding adult Maine C**n that we adopted from our local shelter. His insistence at sleeping with me was unbreakable to the point that I would enlist my husband to “babysit” so that I could get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep (he was notorious for sleeping ON my chest with my fight of 110lbs vs his 28-32lb constantly waking me, some ungodly hour, as I would find him staring at me). Needing some much needed uninterrupted sleep, I would enlist my husband to “babysit” so that I could sleep in peace. Well, we have 2 doors that you can use for direct access to our backyard (one from the den and the other to our bedroom).. My husband’s uselessness babysitting resulted with him putting him outside only for him to run to our door within THREE seconds with him SCREAMING and DEMANDING to be let in our bedroom!!! My husband sucks at babysitting cats, but especially THIS cat, as he knew how to gain the “system”……😵💫😵💫
