I'm a wedding photographer in Western Australia. I've smashed my shin on a barely visible bench at dawn once (and jumped over it somehow so save myself), stood on bins, fences and wobbly tables, climbed trees, walked barefoot on sharp rocks and many more... Lying on the ground is softcore ;) I'll do whatever it takes to get a great shot :)

how to be a crackerjack wedding photographer: 1. get low down on the ground, preferably in mud or something unpleasant. 2. Climb up something tall. Bonus points for hanging precariously over a precipice.

This is how we photographers work. We're lying in the mud, climbing the trees, standing on the edge of a cliff, just to get the perfect picture :)

Crazy? I call it impressive dedication - I just wish we could have seen all of the results of all that work. Kudos to the men and women who make the memories, augment reality, and probably do not even get a bonus for a job well done!

Chinese wedding photographers are the best!

How come most of these look like asian photographers and bride and groom? Is it just asians that are that "crazy" to do that type of photography? lol

Some actions show good work of photographers. The rest dont make them look crazy at all.
