As Halloween approaches, there's nothing better than some supernatural humor. So, today, we are happy to share hilarious content by the talented artist Alexandria Paige, who creates webcomics featuring vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures.

This American artist started writing short comics back in 2015, and in 2020, she created a series called "Jean and Clark". This comic's characters deal with daily life struggles as well as with supernatural beings creating humorous situations.

This is what the artist wrote about herself: "I enjoy reading horror novels, watching Ghibli films, and Kingdom Hearts! My bestie and I host an LGBTQ Discord for artists."

So, without further ado, we invite you to explore this supernatural world and let us know in the comments which comic was your favorite!

To learn more about the comic and the artist behind it, Bored Panda reached out to Alexandria.

First of all, she wrote a bit more about herself: “I'm a 29-year-old from the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio. I make comics when I'm not busy working or taking care of my mom. Hopefully, mom will recover soon, and I'll be able to move somewhere with wifi, haha.”

Alexandria also shared how she started to create comics: “I started drawing and making comics when I was 12. I really liked cartoons and anime, so I wanted to draw my own stuff because it seemed so fun to do! There were so many fun concepts in cartoons and anime. What solidified my love for comics started when I read manga for the first time, and I was immediately hooked, and that's all I wanted to do!”

After reading Alexandria’s comics, you might have questions about the characters. The artist explained a bit about their quirks.

“I made these characters for fun! I was bored making my other comics (lovingly called the 'BUTT comics') and quite frankly burnt out making 'relatable' comics.

Jean and Clark were made before they even had names and rounded personalities. They were just made to make little vampire jokes, and then people wanted to know more about them. So I started to make up stuff on the spot that seemed to fit, then it snowballed into being something I really enjoy drawing and making stories about.

Jean and Clark went from being one-note characters to Jean being a vampire lawyer for the supernatural community, who has to deal with the modern world after being asleep for over 30 years, with Clark and friends to help. Clark went from just being nothing but a mouth box for jokes and flirtation with supernatural creatures, to having a life and people around him he cares for... while also flirting with the supernatural community,” wrote Alexandria.

As an artist, Alexandria also faces some challenges in her creative work. She shared what keeps her struggling the most.

“Time. Having free time at the moment is very rare. And when I do get some free time, I'm so exhausted I just want to decompress for a little bit before the next task on my to-do list comes up. Not to mention the algorithm insists on constant content in order to be seen so when I finally get time and some energy I'm working on my personal projects as much as I can. Editing and storylining can be very challenging when I can't find the next step to go further,” wrote Alexandria.

Alexandria also shared what she would like for people to take away from her comics: “I want people to have fun and enjoy the ride, just like I am, haha. I have no idea where things are going to go in this story and what places my characters will end up, but I hope it's never somewhere boring! It would be cool if my story was interesting enough that people wanted to make their own stories.”

And lastly, Alexandria added: “Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this! I would love to hear from you all if this post intrigued you enough to read my comics! I hope you all have a wonderful day!”

That’s just another way of being dead. To be fair, dead people won’t look nice if they weren’t properly taken care of.
