Omg, someone asked me the same question. I always drew females and preferred female characters. My thoughts were exactly that but I felt like I was going to come across as someone I wasn't if I said anything. They assumed I was a lesbian. For me, drawing females just came more naturally and graceful. I love coming up with flowing dresses. Now I want to get back into sketching.

I finally wore a suit to the school dance for the first time. I was so excited and then I spent the whole night getting misgendered in both genders. Being nonbinary can be rough like first I see teachers who know me who say "Oh this is [name] she's my student." and then I have photographers saying, "Wait let's put him on the left." Like how the heck do I present as they/them.
