What's the secret to becoming a successful creator? Developing artistic mastery, generating more ideas, having excellent social media presence? Try all of them. And if you need an example, Natalia Trykowska (also known as Verauko) is the perfect one. She's a very productive Polish graphic designer/digital artist, based in London, United Kingdom. Her commercial projects aside, Verauko is regularly drawing comics as well, and they have already earned her nearly 48K Instagram followers.
"I try to vary the topics as much as possible, whatever comes to my mind first gets illustrated," Verauko told Bored Panda. " That's why sometimes you'll see me drawing real-life situations, and sometimes some random imaginary mermaid problems. There are absolutely no limitations when it comes to themes. The only topic I would preferably stay away from though would probably be politics, since my knowledge on that matter is very limited and I'd much more prefer to draw stuff that brings people together than divide them."
Over the years she has dealt mostly with graphic design and digital drawing. The former is a result of Natalia's work experience in advertisement while the latter is a form of passion that has been following her since she was a child.
For Natalia, coming up with the idea is the hardest part of the creative process. "I'm lucky enough to have a good imagination when it comes to visual stuff, but when I have to come up with a story, my mind often turns blank," Verauko added. "That's why majority of my comics are everyday life "problems", e.g. naked butts randomly showing up on the streets or nervous laughing fits at coffee shops - all of those silly, random situations actually happen to me and that's why I draw them." Natalia said that working on the drawing is relatively easy when she finishes developing the idea.
And her expertise shouldn't come as a surprise, since Verauko took her time developing it. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Scroll down to check out her comics, and upvote your favorite pieces.

Her hair is still great. Shouldn't it just be sticking and non existent
Believe me, it's really great spaghetti. The best ever. The meatballs are yuge!
Ironic evolutionary twist: an animal who gives birth to eggs yet has large mammary glands for milk production.
I know that the artist of these comics is Polish but this comic reminds me one time when an American transfer student visited our class at school. She told about her and her country. At the end of the class everyone could ask questions. The first question was: 'Do Americans really sleep with their shoes on?". I don't remember what she answered but then we had a long discussion about wearing shoes indoors because in my country (Finland) it is not polite to wear outdoor shoes inside someone's home. :D
Do not be in the middle of a drink when seeing this one, my laughter made my drink barely miss the keyboard and now my nose stings.
What is so cool about the Oktoberfest? I live here and i haven't been to Oktoberfest in years. Its boring. There are to many people. Everywhere is vomit.. idk. I don't like it
Great art and ideas! Only wondering why does mermaids preoccupy the artist so much :-D
I was wondering that, too. But....tbh I found the mermaid comics refreshing. There are only so many "relationship" and "cats are jerks" comments I can take.
