Procrastinating by gaming throughout the night instead of studying... and then still nailing the exam while in a zombie-like semi-asleep state :D

fwiw in the long run its inconsequential. they make it seem like it sets the tone for the rest of your life when in reality it only sets the tone for your early 20s. by the time you are 30 you will barely remember your roommates name and most likely be in a field that has nothing to do with your degree.

and then you end up with a 35-line paragraph where 60% of it doesn't make sense, but 40% does ; )

...and end up looking like you toked too hard on the bong.

That's nothing - I had a course where we had 1 whole book to read every single week, until the end of the semester. Of course, we also had to write detailed assignments based on the books, so skipping the reading was not an option. Bonus: some of the books were pretty traumatizing (war-related topics, with plenty of "mass unaliving").

It felt weird to go to work at school on the day when Russia attacked Ukraine. I didn't want to tell my pupils anything, but they screamed at me: war! It stopped being exciting for them when war refugees arrived and they could see firsthand how traumatised the kids were. Also, teachers my age haven't learnt Russian, so dealing with little Ukrainians has been complicated.
