No matter how successful, cool or elegant we are, we all have our days or brief moments when our common sense and dignity bid their farewell to us. Blame it on your brain having a fart, on Mercury in retrograde, on waking up on the wrong foot, it doesn’t change anything.
Sometimes we are all clueless, hilariously naive, and shamelessly embarrassing. So if you just did or said something stupid, we want to give you a big pat on the shoulder and tell you that you are not alone.
Below we wrapped up the list of images featuring people lost in the cloud of their brain farts, so scroll down. Also, be sure to check out more clueless people caught in action in Bored Panda’s previous features here and here.

That's 668 People Who Lack Critical Thinking
Scientific Name = Poison
While we can’t tell the reason that made these people act they way they did as seen in the images shared in this post, we can all agree on the obvious: it’s that humans are sometimes bold and unreasonable.
Luckily, the internet is a perfect place to celebrate these funny occasions. Just like the miscellaneous corner of Reddit known as the “What Could Go Wrong” community, which has been demonstrating examples of “what not to do” since 2013.

Now Your Own Decisions Belong To A Man You Haven't Met
I'll be happy to pretend to be a fiancé/husband working abroad and do a video call giving my consent to anyone having this problem.
Previously, we spoke with the creator of what is now a Reddit powerhouse that boasts 7.2 million members. The creator who goes by the nickname Peanutbuttered told us a while back that in a perfect world, r/whatcouldgowrong wouldn’t exist because people would know what is smart to attempt and what isn’t. “But since that’s not the case, at least, we hope the subreddit can help to prevent an injury or save a life."
“My hope is that people who are thinking of attempting a stupid stunt will rethink their decision or maybe recall a post they saw on /r/whatcouldgowrong. Then they’ll think, 'maybe I should not do this,'” the redditor said.

I Mean, How Stupid Can People Be?
But bold actions we all sometimes do without thinking twice about them may have to do with our lack of sense of actions and consequences. This may be deliberate or not, since some people struggle to control their impulsivity.
Another reason may be the fact that we live in the age of instant gratification. From social media to online shopping, the ability to get what we want with the click of a button has eliminated the need for long-term planning and consideration of the potential consequences of our actions.
Our culture has become one of immediacy, where people are more concerned with the short-term gratification of their desires than with the long-term consequences.

This lack of foresight has led to a number of problems, both for individuals and society as a whole. For individuals, it has resulted in a lack of financial planning, leading to debt and overspending. It has also led to a lack of responsibility when it comes to personal health and safety, resulting in an increase in reckless behavior and risky activities.
There's A Thin Line Between Confidence And Stupidity And This Guy's Way Over That Line
I was working on a commercial (makeup artist) and we were filming outside all day. I was walking around putting sunscreen on all of the actors and one flat out refused it and said that he never uses it and never burns. Guy ended up frying and blistering and getting heatstroke. Hopefully he learned from that.

On a larger scale, this lack of consideration for the consequences of our actions has led to environmental degradation and climate change. We have failed to take the long-term view and instead have focused on short-term gains, leading to a situation where we are now facing the consequences of our actions.

Load More Replies...Crazy to think but just hear me out on this one. If you want kids..that's great. If you don't want kids..thats great to can we please just let ppl live their lives and just worry about our business
Well said! I would also suggest that your statement apply to everything else as well. I also suspect some people thrive on conflict and those are the people this website attracts.

I'm 36 with no kids, and I don't think it's a problem at all! My life is fucken awesome!
I had my first at 39, and while I wouldn't change it for the world (he is just amazing), it definitely puts a huge damper on my previously carefree nihilistic game playing gen x life.
Load More Replies...I have quite a lot of friends in their 20’s that don’t have kids yet. 100% following dreams over having kids in my opinion.
Take it from someone in their mid-50's and married 28 yrs, not having kids is f*****g AWESOME !!!! (Well....my dogs are our kids if that counts). I mean, no offense to those who do , especially if they actually wanted them and take care of them, but it's not for everyone. Stick with your dreams.
Load More Replies...What f*****g drivel is this. If you want children, have them. If not, then don't. I love my niblings
40 and no kids. Tonight we're going out to a (likewise childless) friend's birthday, plan on sleeping in tomorrow, and continue chatting about where we want to go on a two week trip. I fail to see the problem.
If "the problem" is having time for all my hobbies, no debt, and more money than I know what to do with, then yeah, I guess that's me.
Yeah...I'm 69 with no kids and no regrets. My roommate is 59 & has 3 daughters. Two of them haven't spoken to her in years. One of those two has a daughter she has never been allowed to meet. Recently my roommate was in the hospital for almost two full months fighting for her life. In the first week both of those daughters showed up demanding to know if she had life insurance and who was getting the house. >facepalm< I have a whole new appreciation for my decision not to have kids.
Yeah, I hate my life without nappies, annoying/rude teenagers, constant drain on my bank balance, being a taxi . . .
I'm from the Netherlands and the average age woman have their first child is 30. This number has been on the rise for years and you would have to go back to the mid seventies for the age to be 25.
I think people with your linguistic skills and archaic beliefs are the problem.
If you're 25+ with no kids, you do you. Not everyone's cut out to be a parent, and not every person in their 20s is ready for kids yet.
Eeeeek, what about 39 and no kids? Oh, wait. I chose that and it is so NOT a problem.
Is she assuming that all women want kids? And she's just saying that if you don't have them then it's your fault? Wow.
You there in the corner, you with the rug rats. Your problems are for the next twenty or so years at which time they shall leave your den and only come around for a non-payable loan.
Whenever someone would pester me about not having children, I'd respond that their "misery loves company" approach had no effect on me.
Sooo having kids makes her NOT a problem? I wonder if she's married and how many she has
AND you aren't contributing to the massive overpopulation on our planet - KUDOS to you.
If you're 25+ with no kids, good for you. I'm sure you're living a good life. If you're 25+ with kids, good for you. I'm sure you're living a good life, too.

Infertile/lgbtq+/not financially stable/ not ready/ underweight people have left the chat
What is "the problem," exactly? Is the world dangerously underpopulated? Is there an insufficient number of children being born to people who are unprepared to be parents that will cause a concerning scarcity in messed-up people in the next few decades, making it difficult for psychotherapists to get enough business? Is the degradation of the environment and the dwindling of natural resources happening too slowly for her liking? Does she want to ensure enough people are struggling financially to help the poor pawnshop owners and predatory lenders stay in business? What is this "problem" that she thinks will be solved by maintaining this "everyone is supposed to have kids" mindset?
I think people who have kids just for the sake of having kid's are the problem. How many people have kids and literally can't afford them just because they think it's there right. Unfortunately my partner can't have kids but even if we could I would not be willing to bring a child in to this world with the state it is in. No one has a right to diss a couple if they don't or can't have kids.

I do want to specify that the employee knew English. He was trying his best to get his message across. It’s just that he spoke in broken English, which the woman couldn’t understand. But everyone else in the vicinity, including myself, could.
Conversely, i know of a lady who, on whirlwind tour of Europe and stressed by language difficulties, one day finding herself in a large seemingly-public building called out 'DOES ANYONE HERE SPEAK ENGLISH?'. After a stunned silence, a well-modulated voice replied 'madam, this IS the Bank of England'.
