Can we all agree that cat memes are on a whole other level of entertainment? There's something about them that makes even the smallest cat lover giggle and some even transition from "not really a cat person" to full-blown cat enthusiasts. This type of meme captures those inexplicable behaviors that all cat parents have encountered at some point. They showcase the stark contrast between their angelic nature and their most mischievous acts. All of this is meant to bring a smile to anyone we share these memes with.
Today, we've handpicked some gems from the Facebook page 'Cats on C***ine'. Get ready to see some highly relatable content that you've either experienced yourselves, heard legends about, or simply will find funny even if it's made up…
Spoiler alert: For those who haven't lived with a feline and think it's all imaginary, no matter how funny or unbelievable the cat meme may seem, it's been proven that it holds 100% truth.

It is no secret that cats rule the internet. They are also extremely popular across all social media platforms. There are many 'cat influencers' these days with a massive following. Cat parents, responsible for managing these profiles, ensure that their kitties have an online presence and connect with other pet lovers out there. Some of them focus on showcasing the daily lives of their felines, while others use it as a platform to exhibit their amazing photography skills and share images of their wonderful feline 'meowdels'.
We have reached out to Julia, the cat parent behind two Instagram accounts dedicated to her four fluffy companions: Snickers, Bounty, Milkyway, and Lyra. First, we asked what motivated her to share cat-related content with the community on the social media platform. Julia shared with us: “When my boyfriend and I started dating, he got 2 kittens and I just suggested that he post them on Instagram because people like cats.” Initially, the cat mum created a profile for her cats Snickers and Bounty, which quickly became her passion. “And then when our third cat, Milkyway, came into our lives, I got this vision to have an account in light creamy colors because he reminded me of a little fluffy cloud. As a kitten, he had a very strong and interesting personality and I could imagine what he would say about us and his daily life and how he would complain about his 'hoomans' to others.”
Julia told us more about the process of creating and curating content for her cats' Instagram accounts: “I don’t like planning when it comes to being creative so I am not the kind of content creator who would select pictures for the next month, plan the feed and so on. I am going with my inspiration because I always pair the post with a text which tells a story. And when taking pictures, I stick to the same color scheme, white, creamy, and light colors. It goes well with both cats and the feed looks more stylish in my opinion.”
In addition to photos, videos have become a big trend due to the constantly changing algorithms on social media platforms. The success of TikTok has prompted others to shift towards video content instead of still images, and the same applies to cat content. Suddenly, we were not only able to capture cats in a particular moment but also witness their various (often hilarious) antics! As a result, many people who weren't particularly familiar with felines became attracted to them and developed an addiction to cat content suggested to them by social media while scrolling through their feeds.
We were curious if there are any particular types of cat content that tend to receive higher engagement or generate more interest from the “cat community.” Julia explained that: “I haven’t been able to figure the algorithm out yet (who has?) so to me it seems really random. Some reels that I find quite basic get a lot of views and engagement and some I really like and put more effort into never get much attention. I think due to Instagram’s focus on reels, pictures are receiving less spotlight. I honestly prefer photos over videos but none of us have a choice but to throw in reels from time to time, otherwise, the engagement is much lower.”
While videos have gained popularity, in the end, they are still memes and images which have the ability to capture the essence of a topic in a single shot. We can always take a moment to have a sneak peek at some heartwarming cat pictures or memes that showcase their joyful nature. And don't forget to share these gems with your friends, who may already be buried under tons of messages but will always find a spare space for some great cat memes.
I will do anything for Hobbes. Hobbes is the most important thing in the universe. Hobbes will rule the world.
Yes I do!! Where do I send the fresh fish and kibble? Or do I just endorse paycheck to Hobbes?
What is up with all the people who only feed their cats at certain times? My cat always has a bowl of dry food out. She can nibble at will. She gets canned food in addition at night. She's not fat and I don't have a cat constantly screaming for food. I understand if they're overweight. But your standard cat will eat normal amounts.
I have two cats. One is happy with the dry food/ wet food combo like yours. The other yells at me if she doesn't like the brand (she knows) or the flavour. This is the cat we rescued, and was underweight when we got her, now very spoiled.
