"Ugh, kids these days..." Sounds familiar? Probably every millennial knows that one baby boomer who bad mouths millennials at every opportunity they get. Well, this post is for those who've got the worse end in the never-ending baby boomers vs. millennials debate.
The generation differences and the outlook on life is very distant with baby boomers and millennials, and there are many causes to it. First of all, the millennial unemployment rate is huge, and not because they are lazy, but rather because they already came to a worse economic situation than baby boomers. And that's the cherry on top because this generation has it seemingly worse in almost every life's departments. And not only baby boomers like to complain about it all, but they've also no sympathy for the younger generation.
Below, Bored Panda has put together a list of the best comebacks for all the annoyed millennials out there. Keep on scrolling to check it out and have a best roast possible prepared at the next baby boomer bad mouthing millennials.
Have some of your own millennials vs. baby boomers comeback ideas? Add them to the list!

Are we really complaining about vernacular right now? Did you miss the entire point of this post???? Like, come. on.
The only way I'm ever going to afford a house is if my parents die and give me theirs.
People will always have a problem with other people. However, I don't care what other people do. Let them do whatever they like and everyone is happy. Just don't kill each other :)
Pretty sure everyone slept with everyone in the 60s, and the same people oppose gay marriage. Also guys who watch lesbian porn, and then oppose gay marriage.
It wasn't that generation... it was the people they trusted (voted for) in authority. They believed people in politics were there to help them because they said "trust me". Same foolishness is still going on. All brought to you by the generation that told themselves not to trust anyone over 30... and when they came to power, did the exact same thing previous generation politicos did.
That's true, unfortunately. However, those issues have always existed, even when the boomers were younger (or maybe especially then). I feel like we've come a pretty long way, though (or at least somewhat), with Pride, and LGBTQ+ discrimination bans/protections, the Black Lives Matter movement, feminism, the #MeToo movement, etc.
Funny. My parents say I spend way too much time on my phone but as I type this my mom is on her phone.
Companies today: We want 22 year olds with college degrees, and 30 years of experience.
Then the baby boomers get divorced, and the amount of divorces is nearly half of all marriages by 2016. Studies show those who get married later in life (30s and 40s) tend to stay married
Wha??? This list seems to be more about the baby boomers' parents and less about them. My parents were baby boomers and this doesn't describe any of the parents of my friends when I was growing up. It does describe my grandparents' generation to a T though.
This also applies to relationships. Baby Boomers have the highest rate of divorces.
all while driving towards a complete ecosystem disaster! now that's some skills
Slow down there friend. That ugly little tirade is why people think we are self absorbed whiners. 1. There are a wealth of racist, homophobic and sexist Millennials. 2. The recession has nothing on the Great Depression. So they did not create the worst job and housing market. 3. While the first volunteer bureau was founded in 1919. Wide spread volunteering began in the 1960s with Lyndon B Johnson's War on poverty... you know.. with the Baby Boomers
True and true, baby boomers (some) do say that about Gen Y's. Kind of sad aye? No need for war, as it may solve some issues the country is facing (if any), but it creates major problems with families.
This one bothers me the most, those of us who work multiple jobs, don't party like crazy, loose sleep by stressing about paying back student loans, never being able to afford a house, or never having money to retire or get social security, and they wonder why we are all depressed and pessimistic.
"We are a reflection of your personalities. By insulting us you are insulting yourselves."

Load More Replies...Every generation has complained about the generations after them and those before them. That's the way life works. Unfortunately, as you grow older, you tend to forget how you felt when you were young. But it was very likely the same as the generation of young people now. Old people are always shocked by the way young people dress - parents have to tell their kids to dress more modestly, that's part of their job, it doesn't mean your mom didn't wear short skirts in the 70s or 80s. Murder rates have always been dreadful - living in Victorian London you would be more likely to be murdered than you would be living in Chicago today - maybe older people just remember their childhood fondly and can't help projecting their dissatisfaction with their own sadness at getting old, or coming to terms with the changing world, onto the young people they see enjoying it.
