On the 23rd of June 2016, the United Kingdom held a referendum, asking its citizens, "Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?" 51.9% were in favor of separating from the EU, and thus Brexit (the exit of Britain) began. But as the date of the official political farewell nears (29 March 2019), some activists are talking about halting the process. Mainly due to the frozen negotiations between the EU and the United Kingdom regarding trade, travel, security, and other areas and not without the help of the probably most-hated Prime Minister in the recent history of the UK, Theresa May.
And though the whole Brexit ordeal has sparked many political jokes, the latest Independent's Final Say petition has already surpassed 960,000 signatures, winning support from politicians and celebrities alike, who wish to withdraw from the whole separation process. Recently, nearly 700,000 of these supporters marched through London, flashing their creative and original protest signs to persuade the undecided. Bored Panda has gathered some of these funny posters, so scroll down, enjoy the wit and upvote your favorite funny signs. And if you need more inspiration on how to add some style to your next march, check out these Funniest Protest Posters Ever.

Spice girls were my first concert when I was young...Loved every moment they were popular!! Spice Up Your Life!!!
I can't believe anybody gives a flying rat's @$$ about the spice girls anymore
On the 1st vote UK was like 'Stop right now, thank you very much, I need somebody with a human touch...' Now they're like 'I need someone like I've never ever had before. I had a little love, now I'm back for more'
Yeah but Geri Halliwell sold nearly 5 million albums on her own and had 4 number ones. If that signifies failure in their eyes I dread to think what they class as a success.
I did think about that when deciding on my sign but Godwin's law relates exclusively to online discussions and not political march placards. I will be carrying it again this Saturday.
Load More Replies...In this case 17.4 million voted not to be dictated to by Germany and, similar to 1942, nationalism is proving to be the best antidote to a form of fascism.
The figures may be the same but comparing Brexit to Nazism is so f*****g ridiculous I can’t even with this one!
The point of the placard is that 17 million people can be wrong, not that Leavers are nazis, which would be an absurd thing to say. Unless it is held that it was not wrong to vote for Hitler then there is no fallacy in the syllogism.
Load More Replies...When you consider that it took the advent of the Labour party to fight for the average working people, how any working class person can ever contemplate voting for tory rule really baffles me. Admittedly Labour isn't a shadow of how it began, but even so, leaving Europe and having an unfettered tory government would see an even more rapid decline in the rights and welfare of the common man. Reading a book on modern history is all it takes to understand this. No NHS, no workers unions; in short, no workers rights. It seems to me that people forget and take for granted the efforts over many years of those who fought long and hard for recognition of the exploitation of ordinary man (and woman).
Just those four? No. And the other 60 million plus? Also no. Except Stephen Fry. He always gets a pass.
If we want to employ time frames, how about EU:1993-2019 UK 1707-2019?
That's progress for you. The SNP tried to separate Scotland from the rest of the UK, the UK is trying to separate from the rest of the EU, and Captain America separated from the Avengers. Which means the next big event is half the world being wiped out by Thanos. And if I survive, I'm suing the bald, purple f**k.
I get a feeling the "funny" in this sign went right over your head. Instead of focusing on what is written, focus on how it is written.

Well I am Belgian: I could get her a European passport. And beer and chocolate.
If I wasn't older than your Grandpa I'd meet you on Tinder just to touch your mind. I despair of my generation, the little Englanders stuck in 1940. Please, Youth, understand that not all the old people aren't with you. It is only those without Education. You are not alone, I am with you.
Not all leave voters are "uneducated" but all liberals are treasonous weasels young and old alike.
Load More Replies...If I wasn't old enough to be your grandpa I'd invite you out on Tinder for your mind. I despair of many of my generation. You are the future, our future. Most of us educated old people are on your side. You are not alone.
At least those Phantom Menace negotiations resulted in some exciting lightsaber action!
This is more like : The EMPIRE strikes back. But instead of a Darth Vader you guys have a Darth Mother. (and her wardrobe is not that cool)
I think it's the one with William Shatner and Patrick Stewart.

The thing is, were you at the polling booth on 23rd June, 2016? That is what matters.
Yes! And before the advent of the Normans, the Picts painted themselves blue and danced naked around the fire. That was back in the day when all the Angles knew all the Saxons and the Saxons knew all the angles.
The Saxons & Angles (& Jutes & Danes) were the immigrants before the Normans
Load More Replies...Yes!, so let's be good EU members, follow Germany and let in Middle Eastern rapists so that they can push the sex offence rate up like they have done in Germany and Sweeden.
I wish that option was available for at least half of my life choices
Stop hating on comic sans, what did that font ever do to you?
my sister has it. you can get it at Big W
Load More Replies...Yes, just the 'education' system (which is laced with EU grants), get them early.
People only dislike comic san because they are told to dislike it. I bet most people can't even say why they don't like it. Lol.
This explains everything: https://designforhackers.com/blog/comic-sans-hate/ TL;DR it sucks in every way possible
I honestly don't know which is funnier, the sign or your comment lol
Load More Replies...Of course he does : the more divided his opponents are, the more power he has.
Germany is quite happy to cosy up to Russia when it comes to cheap energy.Maybe as well, the EU may start to refrain from fermenting trouble in places like Ukraine for once (off course, that isn't imperialism, the unelected EC is too 'nice' for that).
Of course he gives a s**t. He supports anything that will make EU weaker. Are you new to this planet?

Really, you should have got of your backside and VOTED then and you wouldn't have to bother now.
Don’t ever go to Britain if you think that’s how it is. You’ll be in for a pidgeon poop shock
Load More Replies...Their is no future for the EU, especially when their British pay masters leave.
Too late asking for a future within EU now. ALOT of the votes FOR brexit when they voted for it came from young people saying "it's never going to happen anyway so i voted yes as a joke".. Can't vote yes for something, have it go trough, and then go "but i meant it as a joke"..
People who are about to die in the next 10 years shouldn't be allowed to vote.
As cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University?

This reminds me of when people in the States were saying that they were going to move to Canada because gay marriage was being legalized. Even though it had been legalized here for years already.
What a happy little ray of sunlight you are, Ellis.

I read an interesting story that compared Russian meddling with our 2016 election to Russian meddling with the Brits exit from the EU and not surprisingly the conclusion was that in both campaigns the nationalist fervor was kicked into high gear by Russian operatives. Nationalistic views are being used to weaken us and our allies. It's past time to wake the f up
The form that "nationalist" usually takes in these situations is sheer anti-immigrant. To stir people up it helps if you give them different people to hate and feel superior to. That's how we got Trump.
Load More Replies...Where are the pictures of George Osbourne and David Cameron and probably every politician for the last 45 years?
Where's Corbyn on this list? Little Jeremy has lied more than all of them.
Honestly, Farage and Boris should be held accountable for this fiasco. And that moron who was prime minister at the time of the referendum. He counted on the smart people of Brittain, bluffed and lost. Everybody lost...
That sounds ominous. Sadly the pro Brexit politicians who were the loudest with their lies before the referendum, don't deal with the negotiations and the consequences. As I remember May was against Brexit but wasn't loud about it but after the referendum accepted its result.
had to accept not to put a mess in her own house, as Mister has a lot of money to put off shore ;)

Load More Replies...One thing though, I agree with these voters and I don't know much about this so my opinion does not mean much however if majority voted then even if a lot of people think it will be wrong for England if majority believe England should leave the EU then isn't the leaders duty to follow through with that. Okay, this is probably a niave statement I'm not sure but...
The referendum wasn't legally binding. They didn't have to go ahead at all. There was no knowledge as to what leaving the EU would look like or what would happen as it had not happened before. So many unknowns. It was stupid asking people to vote on something that that had no clear plan. The Government didn't understand it themselves at that stage (and barely do now!). We just got a lot of lies and sadly too many people believed them.
Load More Replies...If Britain does leave EU, I fear my country (France) will leave tooo . Remain European
So glad those undemocratic remain stragglers didn't get their way by scraping the very bottom of the barrel of reason, either trying to suggest the nonsense idea that children should be voting or that their own minority opinion should override the will of the majority. It may not have been your personal preference, it may even turn out to not to be a great move economically, but some things are more important than money, like autonomy and democracy. Pro EU forces have been consistently disregarding or circumventing democracy to make the EU a constitutional union and it's nice to see a change in that pattern. Fair play to ye for sticking to your guns Britain. (I'm pretty sure you folks will be fine economically too btw). ;)
See, what everyone seems to overlook is that Brexit is far more complicated than ‘we hate immigrants’- while that was unfortunately, a driving factor, people continue to overlook other issues such as the power imbalances, the fact that the EU is extremely bureaucratic and needs a kick up the a*s, and the fact that it is now quite outdated. The EU and modern Britain are disconnected- most people don’t even know who their EU representatives are, let alone what they’re voting for.
The impact of EU law varies from sector to sector but in many areas - public order, crime, defence, health - EU laws have minimal impact. In others - workers' rights, trade - the impact is much greater because the single market and the free movement of workers are at the heart of what the EU is about. People think we're having EU laws thrust upon us constantly and it's simply not the case. Oh, and of course the EU is bureaucratic - that is it's function. If people don't know who their MEP is that speaks volumes about them and not the EU.

The referendum wasn't binding. They didn't have to go ahead. There was no knowledge as to what leaving the EU would look like or what would happen. So many unknowns. Shouldn't have had a referendum without looking very, very closely at what leaving would mean FIRST and properly - not the David Davis 'oh, I did look at it... well, no I didn't really' that happened AFTER. You cannot knowledgeably vote for something when you don't have the knowledge. It's an absolute farce.
