We're laughing about pets but when I came out from an anesthesia myself after a surgery I remember asking another patient in my hospital room a straw for my juice in this "Dddhhooo ya havvvvveeee annnnt straaaaaw f-f-f-fooor ma' juuuuice?' way. And my ex-boyfriend was near me, I remember him saying "darling, please lay down, you need to sleep". And then later when I woke up I asked if I acted weirdly in any way when coming out of anesthesia and he said 'No, nothing, everything was cool.' So it was THAT embarrassing he didn't want me to know. So let's laugh at those poor animals now, because we are more like them than we would ever want to agree! Cheers! My niece was worried about her dog not moving after an emergency vet visit. Her parents and I had to reassure her several times that the dog was fine, just stoned out of her mind.
