Every year 3 brothers from New Brighton, MN make a GIANT snow sculpture. This shark was one of their creations. In previous years, Austin, Connor and Trevor Bartz have also made a 12 ft. turtle, a walrus, an octopus and even a blowfish.

I would love to speak with one of the Queen's Guard to hear some of the crazy b******t they must see on a daily basis.
My mom was an amputee back when prosthetic legs were made of wood. I told all of my preschool friends and they didn't believe me, so when she came to pick me up, she let them knock on her wooden leg. Of course, being curious children, they felt the need to bang on her good leg for comparison. She took it really well, but I'm sure she was a little sore. My mom was awesome.
I love your story Cassie. My mom's aunt who was a well humored lady. She would often ask me to put the top down on my convertible and take her for a ride Then she would proceed to toss her prosthetic in the back storage behind the seats. We would LAUGH as we tootled around town. Sadly she passed away from a brain tumor many years ago. But your story reminded me of my auntie. Thanks for sharing about your mom!

I met an awesome little kid today who was curious so just out right asked what happend to my leg. I told him and he said my fake leg was really cool. Top tip: don't stare, ask. 👍🏼

Sooooo, I know #8 personally. He's just got his arm folded into his breastplate.
The pics must have been rearranged or his taken off- #8 is a female.
Load More Replies...#10, Mrs. Nesbit, is not an amputee in real life. He's a cosplayer from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area who makes great costumes, but I've met him personally and I can verify that he has two arms.
why can´t I find and see my post here only when someone gives me likes or reply to it..
These guys are the real life heroes... Men and women that don't succumb to the sadness and self pitty, they just keep on fighting with a smile on their faces and they don't quite having fun and enjoying life, and they are an amazing role model for us all.
They might have a great sense of humor, and it says volumes about their grit and strength, but I don't find it remotely funny! I found it a bit sad! They deserve a lot of respect even if it's for this sense of humor!
And lots of people are respecting them.....not sure what your issue is. Humor and respect aren't mutually exclusive.
