I went through the same thing on the 2 day of mine living with me. She had climbed on top of the kitchen cabinets to the kitchen doorway frame and was staring down at me!

I had a cat that used to do this. It was freaky the first time we found him up there but after a while when we couldn't find him we just looked up.

Cat's like small spaces, whether an illusion like a shadow or reflection, 2D like a hoop or envelope in this case or 3D like a box or paper bag, as it will make them feel safe to be 'inside' it. If you make a circle on the floor in string, chances are you cat will sit in it. They feel secure. ^^

That's exactly why. Paper is a good insulator, and it keeps the exposed pads toasty. Although I suspect they also like the crinkly sound.

This is a little funny but really sad to see. Why would they take the time to take a picture of their cat in an uncomfortable position... In my opinion don’t wait a minute to take a picture of your cat when it needs help, just save your cat and then tweet that you found your cat like that... Poor cat. :(

My cat LOVES chocolate. I have to hide it or he tries to eat all the chocolate. He will also avoid a cup of tea or coffee to go straight to the hot chocolate. It's a pain really, but he has never been sick from any chocolate he has eaten.

This is my cat. He thinks I'm dying when I'm in the bath every night and panics the whole time. He treats me like a war hero when I get out. He will actually stand in the sink and wrap his arms around my neck, hugging me, just out of relief that I didn't die. The whole time I'm in there he meows frantically and reaches out to me and will even bite me trying to pull me out.

He has weird way of showing it, grooming me and headbutting me and rubbing alongside me and kneading me and following me all over the place and waiting for me just inside the door when I come home and sleeping by my side and learning to play fetch all by himself and always bringing me straws to throw and stuff.
