I always had lots of fun playing with my food as a kid. All these shapes, textures and colours made my imagination run wild. It was also a good excuse to avoid eating my vegetables.

Many years later, I still find myself creating fun characters or situations in my mind just by looking at the food I have on my plate or at my table. So every now and then I illustrate my silly thoughts and draw foods that have taken a life of their own.
