“Fun Fact Comics” is a delightful collection of comics created by a talented architect. Despite his professional pursuits, this artist's passion for doodling dates back to his childhood, where he enjoyed sketching in the early morning hours before the rest of his family woke up. The author of the series shared with us that his comic work is inspired by other renowned artists such as Sarah Scribbles, Owlturd, and Poorly Drawn Lines. The “Fun Fact Comics” reflect the cartoonist’s interactions with loved ones and the humorous anecdotes that unfold in his daily life.

The name of the series initially aimed to present single-panel comics with fun facts. However, the comics later began featuring various random situations and hilarious characters. If you’re curious to see the most recent strips and learn more about the creator himself, scroll down. Also, remember to let us know in the comments below which of the comics made your day.

We reached out to the artist behind the “Fun Fact Comics” in order to learn more about his work. Firstly, we were wondering what made him choose the format of comics to express his creativity. We learned that: “I’ve always had a passion for creating things in my spare time: comics, art, stories. Once I started reading online comics from great artists like Shen and Sarah Andersen I felt inspired to start drawing my own 4-panel format comics. Slowly my comics evolved into longer formats and the League of Horrors and Ben was born from a one-off comic that I thought was really funny about a school boy who puts the fear of God into a group of monsters.”

Asked about the most rewarding aspects of creating a comic series, the artist shared with us: “The reception from people reading my comics has always been my greatest motivator. Getting a message or comment from someone telling me how I brightened their day or how they read all my comics in one sitting really makes me happy.”

Whenever someone makes a specific claim with 3 figures of numbers in it or more, ask them where they got such precise data from. In the ensuing silence, make your retreat. This works 97.57625% of the time.

A hand in front of the face might prevent a sock in the mouth... but I'd recommend closing the drier door first. And switching it on. Fun fact - the world has never been taken over by dizzy overheated socks ... (so far)

The cartoonist has also told us more about the biggest challenges he faced while working on his comics: “I think the hardest part of creating for social media is trying to ignore social media. It can be really hard to separate how you feel about what you’ve created and how successful a comic is in terms of engagement.”

The audience, following social media profiles of the “Fun Fact Comics” has been eagerly awaiting new content. We wanted to know, if the artist sill plans to continue the series, especially considering the recent absence of new strips. We found out: “It’s been years since my last post. I did in fact create a longer script for a graphic novel and completely a sampel of a couple of pages that I do intend on releasing. League of horrors and my comics fun fact comics is definitely not dropped. It’s just that right now other things hold my attention. I’m an architect working full time and I draw houses for friends and family in my spare time, I became a dad to a wonderful little girl 2 years ago and I’ve taught myself how to animate and code to create a little rogue-like game that I might start sharing some info on in the future.

Lastly, the artist added: “I’m really humbled that so many of my followers have decided to stick around during these years.”

Actually, there can be pride in being a survivor, learning from every experience, and growing old with style. Just, never let them know about the pain, listen to everybody, and avoid being boring by inviting everyone into the conversations. Their thoughts matter too - even when you don't expect them to!

Fun fact for the day. The Oxford English Dictionary credits Shakespeare with introducing over 3,000 words to the English language, of which over 1,700 are still used today.

Always pay your debts - but, better still, don't create them. And, if you ever see anyone 'bet the house', bet against them.
