Full Moon Service: Photoshop Master Erik Johansson Reveals How He Created His Newest Masterpiece In 8 Months
Photographer and Photoshop wizard Erik Johansson creates mind-bending optical illusions that make people question reality. He has already revealed some tutorials but recently Erik has decided to present a behind-the-scenes look at how he produced one of his instant classics, an image titled Full Moon Service.
The fascinating 3-minute video follows Johansson from the absolute beginning of his project to the final shot. The production of this single image took about 8 months, and everything started when the artist sketched one of his ideas onto a piece of paper. He then moved to creating and buying props (for example, rice paper lamps, light bulbs, an electric generator, a van, and more). Finally, Johansson shot the base with a Hasselblad H6D-50c and did his magic in Photoshop CC 2017.
“Although one photo can consist of hundreds of different images,” Johansson writes on his site, he always tries to make them “look like it could have been captured.”

I really like this photo and this is when photoshop is used perfectly. It's not a cheesy, unbelievable picture.
