Dunno if Jamie Spears can see this, I honestly don't care. Mr. Spears, I have two words for you: F**K. YOU. (wow, that felt good I never drop the f-bomb) YOU ARE CONTROLLING YOUR DAUGHTER AND THAT IS NOT OKAY, NO SIR, THAT IS NOT BLOODY OKAY. Britney is already a goddamn adult and you are controlling her! She can't do music, real music (not the c**p she was forced to do), she can't see her kids (I saw your video Jayden, your grandfather is a d**k.) she can't even get Starbucks in her bloody car! Honestly, I thought America was the land of the free (...um...) but look at what's happening right now! If I wasn't some random middle schooler ranting, I'd like to file a lawsuit, sue, do something, DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU GUYS DO IN THE BLOODY COURTROOM! Mr. Spears, I'm with the #FreeBritney movement. If something good doesn't happen to Britney and her kids, I swear, somebody's gonna actually file a lawsuit. If they don't, I will (or at least try. I'm just in seventh grade) F**K MR. SPEARS!

Being thick here. If, for example, someone is sectioned under the UK Mental Health Act, they have a legal right to appeal their detention. If they don't, they are automatically referred to a review tribunal after three years. If someone lacks capacity and decisions need to be made in their "best interests" there are criteria and a process enshrined in law. If someone has what we call Power of Attorney over another persons affairs, it's either because the person has handed them control through free will or lacks capacity. And don't get me onto deprivation of liberty safeguards. My point being that there are legal safeguards in the UK to prevent this sort of thing happening. Either US law is fundamentally flawed or... there's something we don't know.

I'm not a fan of her style of music, but I've always felt there was something sad about her. If true, this explains a lot. She seems to have a good heart and a sweet spirit.

Not a Britney "fan" but her behavior struck me as the sort of extreme "cry for help" that was, unfortunately, treated as a joke by the media. She wanted someone to ask her what was wrong, and to get her *out*, and did not know what else to do... B/c her parents were *such* gems treating their kid as an ATM since she was a toddler. Seen this in not-rich-not-famous people. It's amazing what removal from toxic situations and people can do to heal someone... And what happens to people who have guardians for "their own good". It sometimes ends up with a homicide charge. (I'm old. I've seen too damn much. Humanity, basically.) And, as I commented elsewhere, that's a Thorazine stare. She wants to scream, and they're making sure she can't, is how it looks. Poor kid. (Yes, she's a kid. Compared ot me, most are.)

As Brian Wilson's story can attest to, this can easily be abused, healthcare professional or not.

Britney's mom just filed to be a part of conservatorship today. She was turned down before but she has a new legal team now so hopefully this time it will work if people keep talking about this it could force another look

Absolutely awful!!! How is this even possible, crazy people walk in the streets shooting and doing whatever, she is treated like a child! How can she NOT melt down?! Just kidnap this awful father or something!

Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys had a crazy doctor controlling him too... (Am I the only one old enough to remember this story?). It was a nightmare for him. Really really awful and abusive! He somehow met a wonderful woman who fought like hell to save him from the clutches of that evil doctor and the 2 married and living happily ever after. True story.... Britney needs a new and improved, in her best interest, good for her, and her little boys doctor and team. This all needs to be about her, not her ability to make money for them. Good Luck Britney.

That's not even a life. That's her father treating her like a goddamn barbie doll, and threatening her if she ever shows ANY OTHER emotion than what HE WANTS HER to have. What the hell is wrong with him?? HE should be put to a mental asylum PERMANENTLY. No one deserves to be treated this way. NO ONE.

This just looks like her father found his cash cow and he doesn't have to do a damn thing for his free ride except keep her quiet.

2 WORDS- Frances Farmer. Her biography about her life, and lobotomy at the hands of her Mother, fascinated the world only a few years ago. Jessica Lange got the Academy Award for her performance. Yet, once again...History repeats itself. No sane Judge, would allow this kind of conservatorship with this kind of money. If it was to protect, then no one other than Britney, and her children should profit. A year check-up of mental health should be assigned. Unbelievable.

Heartbreaking. I'm glad her mom is filing for petition to also give her conservatorship. I hope she finds happiness and lives a fulfilling life, it's been too long.

So she kidnapped her child (and, yes, it is kidnapping) whilst under the influence of drugs, and you think she should have full unauthorised contact with her children? It is all about the money. If she wouldn't be worth millions, the father and the lawyer wouldn't give a s**t.
