Sometimes its nice to just feel like a manly man. Eating meat off the bone, smelling like sweat and hard work. Not that any of those things are specific to being a man, but it does help us feel manlier. There is nothing wrong with marketing towards a certain group. These products are trying to capitalize on people wanting to feel manly. There is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel and look like a man, even if it is nothing more than a name on a package.

My husband fell deep into this abyss when he was trying to tell me what kind of vitamins he took saying, "I think these are for adults. No, wait, they are for men." I was laughing so hard I couldn't even explain why what he said was appropriate!!

When it comes down to it does this really affect you in any way? So men like things that say "men" on them .... ok? so? No one is saying women can't buy these products. So whats the problem?

For years advertising has targeted women and made something pink and charged 20% more for it. I think it is refreshing that now men are also a target and I hope the are also over charged for ordinary products now in black bottles with manly catch phrases.

If the opposite was pointed out and satirized it would be called misogyny, people who point these products out [and most of them are wink/wink sarcasm] are the ones with the true hang ups in today's PC/snowflake society

My faith in humanity is dying, like if it was a person and somebody shot it in the head sorta dying.
