Anyone who loves food will tell you that there is no such thing as too much of it. And while this doesn’t mean that you should be munching on something non-stop – that’s just not healthy – it does mean you can incorporate food in other aspects of your life.

Food and produce festivals are very popular, for example. Another interesting option is food-related art and photography. But even if you are not organizing anything this grand, you can still have lots of fun if you and your foodie friends play a food quiz. If you like collecting random food facts just out of curiosity or to assist you in shaping your diet, you will definitely like this game. Food trivia questions are fun, but they can also help you learn a lot of interesting things about food.

You could also share with each other some fun food facts that will help you make healthier choices in the future that are actually tasty. You will be surprised how many useful tips you can pick up from online cooking trivia that will actually improve your cooking skills.

For this game, the food questions don’t only have to be about eating and cooking. There is also the history of various restaurants and recipes, discoveries, and prominent figures in the food industry.

We have compiled a lot of questions about food (and answers, but no cheating!) and other food trivia for your next game or just for you to browse in search of new information about your favorite food and restaurants. Enjoy reading and then share some interesting food facts with us in the comments!

All the vegetables are botanically something else. They can be fruits (i.e peppers, tomatoes, aubergine), roots (i.e. carrot, turnips), leaves (i.e spinach, lettuce...) or even flowers (broccoli and cauliflower, artichokes). Vegetable is not a botanic category.

As soon as breakfast is finished they would start cooking for lunch same with dinner. Well at least that is how my Italian side of the family does with get together a. There's always food cooking.

This one doesn't surprise me. It was common (apparently) amongst university students where I attended school. At a Craft & Food course a fellow student claimed that you buy all other food but steal cheese. More than half of the class knew of or followed this practice. It was new to me and I didn't do it because, not a thief (additional edit: also I was a mature student of 50+years). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The school had a food bank btw.
