An artist from St. Petersburg, Marina Askerova, has been into painting and sculpting her entire adult life and even teaches children these subjects at an art school, but a few years ago she discovered a relatively young art — wool watercolour. The technique of drawing gives a feeling of space. Pictures by Marina have different effects — of pastel, watercolour or oil painting.
That’s not wool felting, but consistent laying out of wool strands of different sizes. The lightness of these works is incredibly attractive, they seem to glow from inside. One could just try to imagine how warm they are by nature. The ideas of these works are also full of warmth, kindness and spiritual light. Let's admire these heartwarming masterpieces.
