Okay, I see what brought you here. You googled fitness motivational quotes, gym quotes, health quotes, or something from that opera and landed on this page. First, welcome and congratulations. You are on the right track. Second, thank goodness, the Google algorithm actually works. 

Nevertheless, a healthy-er lifestyle doesn't start in the kitchen or gym. It begins in your head. Greg Plitt accurately once said, "Get the mind right, the body will follow." I'm not sure whether that's necessarily a fitness quote, but indeed a motivational one. So, first and foremost, convince your brain that getting more active is something you genuinely desire. If numerous scientific studies weren't enough to persuade you to get your joints moving, perhaps inspirational fitness quotes will do the job. Or they will be that final step, the sweet cherry on top.

Being active and eating healthy shouldn't be called a diet or a seasonal craze to get that beach or, as they call it, "summer" body ready. It's not about toned muscles or a six-pack either. Fitness isn't about grinding in the gym and maxing out your bench press every other week after inhaling a full scoop of pre-workout. After all, not everyone's fitness idol is Chris Bumstead, aka Cbum. Although the gym rats in my gym would definitely argue about that.

However, there's no need to be a pro athlete or have a gym membership to stay active. With fitness, there's no right or proper way to do it. Heck, you don't need to spend a single dollar to stay active. Many activities, such as walking, jogging, stretching, or yoga, require zero equipment. Have you ever tried Zumba? Oh lord, give it a go if you want to sweat from places you thought didn't have sweat glands. 

However, no amount of motivational fitness quotes will ever get your butt off the couch if you don't want it yourself.
