This is an ongoing series of illustrations in which I created fishbowl head characters.

The fish represent the 'self' and how it's always looking for connection and communication. This can be with others, him/her self or with nature. I find that in today's world, where a lot of our communication is done in a digital way, we still yearn for the personal and warm connection. Possibly more than before.

Better engaging with your phone, a book or music, than blankly staring at the nothingness of the daily routine (and avoiding eye contact with strangers anyway).
