A 65-year-old Spring Hill, Florida, man suffered a heart attack while mowing his lawn last Saturday. “All of a sudden he came in and yelled, ‘I think I just had a heart attack,'” said Ralph McCrory’s wife, Dorothy. Hernando County Fire Rescue were called to the scene, and McCrory was saved. Not only that, the Firefighters finished mowing his lawn.

“Our folks have stopped many times and helped people change a tire on an automobile that had a flat,” said Kevin Carroll, Hernando Co. Fire Rescue Asst. Chief. “This is not unusual for us, but we’re very appreciative to the gentleman who actually took the photographs, that he took the time and made the effort to actually recognize these folks.”
