Can you imagine an artist who cannot draw?

Hanna Tsukanova from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is exactly like that. She did not study at art school therefore she does not have drawing skills. However, this fact did not stop her from making art! Her specialty is felted portraits and sculptures that look exactly like real animals. She creates amazing animal portraits in a complex technique called a bas-relief.

Each portrait requires dozens of hours of work, sometimes it even takes several days to finish it. Hanna says that sometimes she doesn't have a clear picture of an action plan. She just uses her artistic instincts - where and how much wool fiber to add, which color to choose. She mixes shades of wool fibers the same way as other artists mix paint on the palette.

Aww, I used to have a weimaraner when I was a little kid. He was 13 years old when he died, and I have so many memories of him. I know this is not about my dog, but it's so bittersweet to remember.

best wishes for you and those who loved your dog as you did. remember to love and cherish your pets, and to remember them after they pass. your dog must have loved you very much, and i hope you don't grieve too much. instead, remember your frenchie and honor them. do things you think they would've enjoyed doing with you/ seeing you do. if you want to, get a new dog and love it the way you loved your dog. remembering a deceased family member, whether it's a pet or a human, is often the best way to feel better.
