Unbelievable Speed Of Chinese Models Stuns Photographers Around The World

It’s no secret that life in the far east moves a lot faster than most of us could ever imagine, but you might be shocked to find out that this also applies to the modelling industry.

While some of us might take up to an hour trying to frame the perfect selfie, models for Chinese online shopping conglomerate Taobao perform an astounding 30 poses every minute, moving as quickly as the rapidly-snapping camera in front of them. New videos of the incredible process are burning up the Internet, with one from Shanghai Expat gaining over 2 million views. “Was that a photoshoot or a new dance craze,” one user commented.

Though the models reportedly adhere to a severely demanding schedule, the pay comes in at up to $1500 for a single day’s work. Check out the insane videos for yourself below!

I really hope it's 30 poses PER MINUTE, or I'm gonna lose my mind.

I would really like to see how those pictures actually turned out at that speed. they show you the pictures being done, but they don't show you the results. makes you wonder what they would actually look like.

Thats how modeling actually is almost everywhere. You have to keep moving. Not stop and pose and wait 30 secs. You gotta keep it going.

they are actually good quality photos, if you guys ever visited Yesstyle fashion - one of the biggest Asian clothing selling websites you will see the quality of the photos are amazing, the lighting and styling are awesome. Especially the Korean lines. Asian people really think selling clothes online is selling the photos, selling the images first so the photos have to be good. Also this is commercial fashion photography, you don't need to have amazing expression or amazing pose, it is all about taking good photos of clothes, so it is a bit different and can be done a lot faster than high fashion and fine art. An Asian model can shoot up to 150 outfits per day. So the idea of something which is produced fastly then the quality will be poor is not entirely true sometimes 😄

That's silly. I know time is money, but the photographer is suppose to indicate which pose. Also the models never changed their facial expression or turn or c**k their head.

No, it's a set of standard poses. They are professionals and do it again and again, always the same scheme. That's not the average artistic shot with amateur models.

How cute. Posing is is pretty much for bridal work and catalog, and in those jobs there are usually up to a dozen go to poses at most. This is a gimmick and not how most professionals work.
