Meet Coco, A 6-Year-Old Japanese Fashion Sensation Who Dresses Better Than You And Has 280K Instagram Followers
Fashion might not be the most important thing for 6-year-olds, but Coco from Japan is different. Growing up in a family that owns a vintage store in Tokyo has influenced the little girl's fashion sense greatly, and she has become an Instagram sensation with over 280,000 followers.
The tiny fashionista was born in Fukushima, but after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in 2011, her family relocated to Tokyo. Her parents opened a vintage store in Harajuku, probably the most eccentric district in the city. It became Coco's natural environment, and, according to her mother, Misato, the cute girl started taking an interest in shopping and fashion trends around the age of 3.
Her fashion styles range from a puffer jacket thrown over a white button-up to an "Ikea"-emblazoned bag and Nike dad hat. For a further introduction, watch Coco's video below and scroll through her cute photos, voting for your favorite ones.

Is it really her that has all those followers? Or did her parents just buy her a bunch of expensive clothing and stage a kiddie fashion photo shoot in an attempt to exploit their daughter become social media famous?
What if... the girl likes her mom idea of giving her clothes to pose in front of the internet! P.S. The girl is really pretty though. P.P.S. and would be prettier is she wore more bright colours and a happy smile.
but, WTF. When I saw the ones where she showed her eyes, I was all like WTF 'cause I looked liked her when I was 5. But I don't have insta.
Load More Replies...Coco actually does this by choice, and she says what goes online and what doesn't I'm pretty sure that she picks her own outfits as well. She even dresses like this to school. She loves doing this. Her mother does not force her to do this.
Is there one picture this kid is really smiling/laughing? I know this "cool, serious and kind of cold" look from fashion models but I feel like this child doesn't look really happy. Also this is something why I'm happy for my childhood and that I'm the age I am, bc I don't think that 6yo or younger people shouldn't be in the internet, either as pictures nor as theirself. I really don't understand parents who wants her child internet famous and do nearly everything to reach this goal, often without thinking whats the best for their child or what consequences this could have.
See Emily Stander's comment. She does this by choice.
