Rumor is that Clark Gable and Cary Grant would meet up after Christmas with all the monogrammed gifts they weren't interested in and swap them. I really hope that is true! I love the image of them having a drink and swapping monogrammed bath towels and stuff.

His grandson is very handsome, but I don't think any actor today (I could be wrong) can come close to Gregory Peck's humanity and gravitas. One of his sons died fighting in Vietnam, and Peck was a pacifist. You can read him speaking about his son on youtube. Heartbreaking.
