The most important part of Agnieszka Nienartowicz’s unique art is a considerable amount of other classical art comprised into them, be that a detail of a background, a character or an element of the composition.
Although just inanimate objects, the beautiful paintings Agnieszka decides to work with carry little bits of life within them, attesting to the inner workings of the famous artists’ minds, as well as, intricacies of, perhaps, long-forgotten times in which they were created.
To work with the famous paintings of the past is to establish a kind of dialogue with their authors. It is an iterative process of transferring the inseparable traces of thought from within those realistic paintings into the new canvas and, at the same time, giving them a new context to mean new things.

Beautiful and so lifelike. I wonder how much time would it take for an tattoo artist to make one of it real
