To Prove That Minsk Is Not Just An Ordinary Post-Soviet City, I Took These 60 Pictures Of Various City Facades
Minsk is considered to be a very grey city without a splash of color. But I believe that these photos can very well prove that Minsk is not just a simple post-Soviet city: it is quite evident that it has its own character.
All of my shots were taken in different places in the city. You can see classic, almost Soviet-like architecture in the city center, but on the outskirts of the city, construction of new, modern houses is underway.
I've read somewhere that Minsk is one of the most cloudy cities in the world. It's true as a sunny day is a rare event here. Maybe that's why more and more houses are built featuring some color elements.
To give you all a little bit more technical information, I'd like to mention that all of my shots were taken using a smartphone only. In fact, I used my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and edited the shots with the help of Adobe Lightroom.
I hope you will enjoy my pictures!

These are fascinating! It reminded me of a trivia question that my late father-in-law liked to ask people: “How far is Minsk from Pinsk?” Of course, no one had any idea. What is the correct answer?
All were interesting, some were confusing , sorry but none were very inviting.
