With creative ideas and a little bit of imagination, what seems to be, a dull and casual environment can become cool and whimsical. And if someone ever called you out for seeing a happy electrical socket or a sad faucet, remember that you are not out of step with the real world - you just have a vivid imagination that helps you capture the fun around you!

A French artist Gilbert Legrand not only sees what's invisible to others but uses his character design, illustrating, and sculpting talents to help them open their minds to the fun. Legrand gives simple things from our surroundings a more interesting and eye-pleasing appearance by turning them into charming character sculptures. We previously shared his amusing works of art on Bored Panda, but he's now back with more cool characters. A kitchen sponge can become a bridge, a cell phone can turn into a bathtub and two pen caps can turn into lovely kittens in Legrand's unique art.

Scroll down to the collection of amazing artworks and, we promise, you will never see a household item the same way again!

That's almost how I've learned to draw cowboys when I was a kid: I started with the infinity symbol (lying down 8) ! :)

Is it sad it took me 3 minutes to see it??? Lol. It is a bike, on those rack things you see at school and parks where you park your bike. The notebool is there because it can. The notebook is in love with the spiral, theyve been together forever, and will never be apart. Beautiful.

That's how I feel in winter. My shrinking body can't stand straight because it's too cold and my nose and eyes are all a watery mess. That's... Regardless of the mood.
