When I produce new artworks I can`t avoid to get covered by acrylic blots. Depending on wich colors I use I look different every day. Here are some close-ups.

Acrylic blots are the new glitter

I guess this could be a new make-up-trend

You couldn`t plan this

Beautiful and interesting. Nice pics. I am also an artist and have always loved "sub-products" of art making.

So many times I've liked the designs left on the paper I put out to catch overspray more than I liked my actual work. I wish the parts I planned were as good as the parts I didn't, haha. Great article.

I wish I could have seen the intentional artwork that went with these accidental artworks.

Getting messy is not art to me. If that were the case every single person on the planet produces art all the time. Imagine a messy diaper... Is that art?

This always happens to me when I paint! But not as bad as this. I can't let my fingers get covered in paint or it smears onto my canvas/paper and ruins what I'm trying to do. So I have to wipe my hands off when there's too much paint on them.

I too end up covered in my materials, except I don't look nearly as interesting as you. I just look like I smudged black ink everywhere.
