I was loaned a book by my friend. My dying cat peed on the book. I ordered a new copy immediately and gave it to her with a gift card and replacement. We still swap books to this day.

When I was in highschool, I absolutely loved Billy Joel. I had no job and very little pocket money, but managed to buy his latest album. I listened to it for a couple of days, until my friend wanted to borrow it. A month later, I asked after it. She thought her brother had it. Months later, after saving up again, I bought a new album. Forward several years. I bought a new album (can't remember whose), and my same friend wanted to borrow it. I told her no. She asked me why, and I told her. She didn't remember.

She didn’t say anything, she was trying to throw books at me and then just turned and threw one right at my monitor, it’s a really s****y situation :/ I looked for months for just a simple monitor, it was hard because there was no stock coming here and everything was sold out because of people working from home, it cost a lot of money too and I barely got to play on it for even a month. The warranty won’t pay for accidental or criminal damage and repairing it will cost a lot, my hopes to get a replacement from the store.
